ICLEM 2014: System Planning, Supply Chain Management, and Safety

Supply chain systems have complex and open characteristics. The system risk is always subject to the comprehensive effect of external factors and internal factors, which determine the great uncertain characteristics of supply chain systems risk. Based on this, this paper constructed index sets for supply chain risk assessment from the system perspective. With the combination of expert evaluation and unascertained information processing theory, a supply chain system risk unascertained-evaluation model was built. An application to validate the risk evaluation model was designed. Results show that the evaluation model designed in this paper has a good prediction effect for the supply chain system risk evaluation and has high operability and usability.

With the national policy reforming, how to decide the power purchasing policy under the uncertain fuel cost becomes the important question for the power grid enterprises in the Chinese electric power supply chain. Usually, the stochastic programming models are often used for the solution. A new robust optimization model was built and the numerical experiment results were compared with the results from the stochastic programming model. The results show that the robust optimization model is more flexible than the stochastic programming model in the worst situation. Comparing the result from the stochastic programming with the small uncertainty range, the robust optimization's objective function may have higher value. The solution based on the application of both the robust model and the stochastic model was suggested in response to the required robustness and uncertainty level.

With the improvement of living standards, people call for variety and high quality in the consumption of fresh food.Cold chain logistics is an important guarantee for the quality safety of fresh food. From the process perspective, the paper analyzes the research status of fresh food cold chain logistics and its process quality at home and abroad. The cold chain logistics distribution process of fresh meat is taken as an example to analyze the process quality characteristics and to determine its evaluation index of process quality so as to offer some references for the process quality study of cold chain logistics.

The normal port supply-chain lacks the strategic special technology needed by a cross-supply-chain operation. Ability is not enough in a high-end, value-added service that is unable to meet the needs of the rapid development of advanced ports. This paper will explore the optimization of the port supply-chain through the use of an advanced supply-chain model — Fourth Party Logistics (4PL) — and consider 4PL with an integrator of optimized supply-chain solutions. It has an excellent capacity for integrating resources and experience with supply-chain operation. Compared to other supply-chain optimization solutions, it has the characteristics of integrating and developing a port supply-chain alliance, optimizing a port supply-chain operation process, improving an intelligent port supply-chain, and promoting the greening of a port supply-chain. These characteristics will help us realize customer satisfaction, port operational profit and port ecological benefit.

At present, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) are fast developing and have been applied in many fields. The Internet of Things (IOT) provides a new direction for their development. This paper first introduces the concept and structure of the IOT and states the high integration between the IOT and ITS. At the same time, it presents the frame of the ITS based on the IOT and describes the system function. Then, the paper elucidates the application of an intelligent sensor, radio frequency identification (RFID), positioning technology and a geographic information system (GIS) in ITS from three stages:data collection, data transmission and information processing. The paper discusses the differences between the new system frame and the existing system frame. Finally, the paper presents the application prospects of ITS based on IOT.

This paper is about supermarket supply chain inventory optimization. From the perspective of a multi-level inventory, this paper established a secondary inventory management model of a distribution center which places an order and distributes to each store. Each store maintains inventory under the normal random demand and places its order. At the same time, it takes the relevant transportation costs and customer service levels into account. The studies have universal significance to large and medium-sized supermarkets which have their own distribution centers.

Fresh agricultural products are highly perishable, and how to do the sourcing and make sure they are delivered to the consumers in the shortest possible time has become crucial to operate fresh agricultural products e-commerce. The features and the distribution actuality of fresh agricultural products in the E-commerce sector combined with the unique features of fresh agricultural products are analyzed. This paper discusses a supply chain schema suitable for E-commerce development, and did exploratory work on the distribution system of the fresh agricultural products fit for the E-commerce environment, as well.

Three circulation models of the agri-food supply chain are studied:basic mode, production and marketing integration mode, and "one step" mode. Through analysis of the characteristics of the agri-food supply chain, we can realize the advantages and disadvantages for the three modes. Finally, we speculate on the trend toward a circulation model of the agri-food supply chain and hope it will be meaningful to the development of the Chinese agri-food supply chain.

One dual-channel logistics service supply chain (DCLSSC) consists of two vendors and one integrator. Vendors introduce one E-commerce channel to provide logistics service as well as service through one integrator. Assuming that the demand is dependent on the service price and service level, this paper sets up the decentralized and centralized decision models of price and service of a DCLSSC together with the logistics service subsidy contract coordinating this supply chain. Finally, an example demonstrates the reasonableness of the proposed models and feasibility of the coordinative contracts.

The coordination of a supply chain system based on the surplus stock buy-back contract is researched by establishing profitable mathematical models for each member in the system. The effects of the wholesale price and repurchase price to the optimal order quantity of the retailer are analyzed. Then, the most reasonable wholesale price and repurchase price are based on the largest profits of the supply chain system.

With information technology developing rapidly today, market competition is no longer a single competition among enterprises, but a competition among supply chains. Pricing right is the target to be chased in enterprise competitions. Owning the right pricingmeans reaping maximum profits in market competitions. As a rule, the suppliers have the right pricing in the tobacco supply chain; but, is it really true that owning the right pricing is certain to achieve maximum profits under the mode of supply chain management? The coordinating mechanism in the supply chain management research proves that having the pricing right may not necessarily achieve the most profitable purpose under the condition of the tobacco industry supplier pricing. Only through coordination can tobacco supply chains between members be the most efficient and the tobacco supply chain members between enterprises maximize their profits.

Logistics outsourcing has been gradually developing into a strategy for logistics operation of enterprises. Hence, it is critical to select the logistics outsourcing service providers (LOSP). However, limited studies on selecting logistics providers according to outsourcing demands of manufacturing enterprises were done specifically. To satisfy the logistics outsourcing demands of manufacturing enterprises, this paper proposes a method based on Fuzzy Quality Function Deployment (FQFD) for selection of LOSP. First, the paper builds the evaluation HoQ for selecting LOSP and proposes to incorporate fuzzy theory into the HoQ. Second, the paper analyzes logistics outsourcing demands of manufacturers and summarizes them in service quality, responsiveness, reliability, economy and individualization. Next, the evaluation criteria system of LOSP is advanced from five dimensions of business alliance, logistics cost, logistics service quality, and logistics capacity. Finally, the paper takes the RB Company as a case to propose the process as well as algorithm of selecting LOSP based on FQFD. In the case study, the AHP method is applied to determine the weight of the logistic demands, and the triangular fuzzy numbers method is utilized to evaluate the correlation matrix between logistic demands and criteria of logistic providers. Thus, the appropriate transportation service provider is selected for RB by solving the fuzzy numbers.

As a result of the increasing food crisis, there is an increasing need for food quality and safety. This requires the coordination of an agricultural commodities supply chain. This paper establishes a comprehensive coordination mode from the perspective of food safety. Two levels of coordination have been identified:(1) strategic coordination including risk and reward sharing, mutuality, resource sharing, and a common goal; and (2) operational coordination including joint decision-making, information sharing, logistics support. The mechanism of coordination is then proposed. Arguing that reciprocity, trust and collective learning are the mechanisms of coordination, these will be the key drivers of supply chain coordination for food safety.

On the basis of the development of the manufacturing and logistics industries in Sichuan Province — by taking freight turnover and the contribution rate of industry to an economic increase as a development level index of the manufacturing and logistics industries — we apply the VAR model to match the developing relationship between the manufacturing and logistics industries from 1997 to 2003 in Sichuan Province. We adopt a membership function in fuzzy mathematics to calculate the interaction relation value between them. The results show that the interaction relationship between the manufacturing industry and the logistics industry in Sichuan Province is in a good development stage. The manufacturing industry promotes the logistics industry, and then suggestions of interactive development of the manufacturing and logistics industries in Sichuan province are proposed.

Waste cooking oils are promising feedstocks for producing biofuel to deal with the intense problems caused by the energy crisis and environmental pollution. However, the high-level uncertainty in the biofuel supply chain is the main bottleneck that limits its development. This paper proposes a comprehensive framework to address these uncertainties according to the process of the waste cooking oils biofuel supply chain (including waste cooking oils collection, biofuel production, biofuel sale, and logistics) as well as government policies and industry regulations. Meanwhile, the uncertainties of the waste cooking oils biofuel supply chain are compared to the other biofuels to distinguish their differences. Finally, the framework is applied to analyze the uncertainties of the waste cooking oils biofuel industry in China. The results help to promote the development of the waste cooking oils biofuel industry.

Uncertainty is a key challenge that limits the sustainable development of a second generation biofuel supply chain. This paper aims to optimize this supply chain under biofuel demand uncertainty with the consideration of a quantity discount contract on feedstock procurement. Such a supply chain is comprised of three components:(1) feedstock fields; (2) biofuel refineries; and (3) biofuel demand zones. The focus is to determine the optimal plans for:(a) biofuel refineries location and size; (b) a feedstock procurement strategy; and (c) a transportation plan for feedstock and biofuel. A mixed integer stochastic programming model with bi-objectives is proposed and then a solution procedure for this problem is developed. Finally, a case is adopted to explain the algorithm.

By use of a modeling approach of the complex network to construct a supply chain network model, this paper has mainly studied the problem of disruption risk control of the supply chain under the background of globalization. The simulation result of the supply chain network model showed that the supply chain network is scale-free. The key nodes in the supply chain network can be identified by calculating the centrality of the nodes. Detailed results demonstrated that the ability to resist disruption risks and the network resilience of a supply chain can be improved by adding redundancy of the supply chain network and keeping a high level of collaborative work with the key suppliers.

Third party logistics enterprises can play two roles in the supply chain with capital constraint:(1) a traditional role and (2) a control role. Through quantitative analysis and comparison to the third party logistics enterprises' profit and risk under the two roles, the analysis result can provide a reference for the third party logistics enterprises to choose which kind of role.

Revenue management is widely used for maximizing a company's revenue, especially for those instant products. This article reviews the railway revenue management both inside and outside China. The paper focuses on railway passenger and freight revenue management and puts forward some shortcomings of the current research. Finally, it makes the long-range outlook for railway revenue management.

In recent years, the average growth rate of railway freight volume is lower than that of highway freight in China. For the first time, the volume of railway freight was in decline compared with that of the previous year in 2012. In the competitive transportation industry, carriers may utilize revenue management systems to increase profit by using slot allocation and pricing. In this paper, a conceptual model for railway freight revenue management is proposed and a slot allocation model is formulated through mathematical programming to maximize railway freight contribution. We illustrate this model with a case study and the results show the applicability and better performance.

With the expansion and complication of supply chain networks, reliability determines the stability and sustainability of the entire supply chain. The supply chain network reliability has become one of the hard problems to solve by the traditional network theory. Yet, the super-network theory provides strong support for solving such a problem. This paper utilized the super-network theory to study the supply chain network reliability. The basic theory of the supply chain super-network was analyzed first, based on which the supply chain super-network reliability analysis model has been constructed to make the reliability problem hierarchical and systematic. Finally, a decomposition algorithm for network reliability was designed for the model, and through the recursive decomposition method, the amount of calculation has been reduced.

In this paper, the planning of a logistics network with the influences of regional logistics diversity demand is analyzed. This paper not only expounds on the reasons why the logistics demand has the feature of diversity, but also analyzes the structure and elements of logistics demand. An allocating model of a regional logistics service network, influenced by multi-industry, has been built. Models for the regional logistics planning have been proved to be useful in this research.

The result of transportation demand analysis always differs too much from the real operational outcome, especially in the application aspect of regional transportation demand analysis, which lacks necessary model updates. Research on regional transportation has significant value in application. This paper declares the limitations of traditional transportation forecast methods, theoretically and applicably. It then discusses a two-way balance of transportation supply and demand and states the countereffect of traffic demand due to transportation supply conditions in short/long periods. The built system dynamic model is based on a balance of supply and demand in the transportation corridor. Key variables - like economic potential energy, transportation supply demand ratio, and environmental influence level - are discussed. Finally, the model is proved in a case study.

This paper discusses the present situation of the shipping and trade development in the South China Sea area as viewed for its strategic importance in the economic development of shipping. Based on analysis of the related factors of the shipping development, the relevance and dependence ratios between shipping and national economy are analyzed by regression analysis. The analysis shows that the relevance between the shipping development and regional economy scale is remarkable and is economically beneficial to develop the shipping vigorously for the surrounding countries and other countries using the waterway in the South China Sea.

It is essential for railway freight to formulate strategies of goods transportation scientifically so as to be competitive in the modern logistics market. As far as the railway freight decision is concerned, its characteristics should be analyzed in multiple aspects to propose a systematical decision plan. First, relevant factors of railway freight characteristics are analyzed under the circumstances of big data. Then, the multidimensional analysis model for railway freight features is proposed. Finally, a case is presented to explain the application of such model.

With the coming of the information era, a large amount of information hit us. It is a big transformation of the times, after putting forward and taking advantage of the big data. Because of the industry's characteristics, micro-logistics (also called interning logistics) could acquire large amounts of data and different information, which is unclassed. If one could use big data effectively, it would bring enormous development to the foreground of the industry. This paper analyzes the parts where micro-logistics is criticized in China. Based on this, it puts forward some innovation points and development directions of this industry by applying the advantages of big data. Following this, the paper lists the existing applications of big data in the micro-logistics industry and points out the possible barriers in the implementation process of the big data's application.

The Regional Public Logistics Information Platform is the core and key development factor of the modern logistics industry. Construction of the logistics information platform can greatly promote the information oriented for modern logistics development. The concept, characteristics and requirements of a regional public logistics information platform are defined. The function and operation mechanism have been analyzed. Based on the analysis, the frame of the information platform has been designed.

The grey relational model is used to:(1) evaluate and analyze the performance of logistics companies' efficiency; (2) examine the actual level of the business operation; (3) achieve the rational allocation of resources; and, (4) improve the core competitiveness of enterprises. Indicators — such as logistics management and service level, logistics hardware level and contribution of port logistics to the community — are chosen, which include 12 sub-goals. Empirical analysis on the coastal ports of Shanghai, Qingdao and Dalian has provided a theoretical basis for the formulation of large, medium and small port development strategies.

Rainfall is a typical bad weather condition which has important influence on road safety. Through analysis, rainfall has different effects on drivers, vehicles, and roads. Grey correlation analysis is used to compare the contribution of factors and traffic accident prevention measures presented under a rainy environment. Studies have indicated that a driver's physiological and psychological change in the rainfall level is closely related to precipitation and the duration. A driver has the greatest impact on the safety of the transportation system, and vehicle factor influences are less. The study places important value on the in-depth analysis of the causes of road accidents in a rainfall environment and the formulation of safety precautions in the theoretical system of the road transportation system.

Research on driving reliability is based on the research on various correlated factors on high-grade roads. This article utilizes the Principal Component Method to analyze the principal parameters, such as vehicle velocity, vehicle brake strength, acceleration and steering wheel angle. The case study results indicate that this method can effectively transform a large number of linearly-dependent indexes in the influence factor set about transportation safety into a small amount of linearly independent comprehensive indexes. So, it is a new method to study the overall reliability of the driver-vehicle-road-environment system under complex quantitative analysis conditions.

Most railway tunnels meet the requirement of operation ventilation by the piston effect of trains, but studies of operation ventilation for super-long railway tunnels at high altitude are relatively infrequent. The new Guanjiao tunnel, which is located on the Xining-Golmud railway, is relied on in conducting research on the natural ventilation of super-long railway tunnels during operations at high altitudes. Based on:(1) the meteorological data of the Guanjiao tunnel region, and according to the calculation principles of fluid dynamics and constant flow theory and (2) getting the velocity of the natural wind and piston wind of the train, combined with the traffic forecast and traffic organizational planning, the natural wind exchange frequency of the Guanjiao tunnel is finally determined. This paper shows that the wind velocity in the Guanjiao tunnel is between 1.5 to 4 m/s and the natural wind direction is mainly from Golmud to Xining. The average piston wind velocity in tunnel I is 8.38 m/s and 8.1 m/s in tunnel II. Once inside the tunnel, to make the air exchange, theoretically it needs 5.3 trains to go through tunnel I and 5.5 trains through tunnel II.

The division of highways is especially important for road management, information storage, maintenance, evaluation of safety and accident prediction. The existing research mostly divides the highway on the basis of road management, information storage, and maintenance instead of safety. This paper firstly summarizes the common methods of road division, analyzing their advantages and disadvantages. The four accident indicators can reflect the road safety comprehensively. The paper then analyses the highway division using Fisher orderly clustering in consideration of three factors, namely:(1) the number of accidents; (2) the number of deaths in road accidents per kilometer; and (3) the number of those injured in road accidents. Finally, the paper describes the detailed process with an example.

This paper builds an arterial coordination model in order to improve the capacity of the arteries. Under the saturated traffic condition, the objective function of this model is established for:(1) the total length of queues in each intersection; (2) the constraints built by taking into account the relationships of signal phases in different intersections; and, (3) the queues in different phases. Then, it solves the model using Particle Swarm Optimization. Finally, using Bayi Avenue of Nanchang City in Jiangxi province as an example, by calculating the total queue length under the saturated traffic condition and comparing with the current situations, it verifies the feasibility of the model this paper establishes.

During the process of a traditional freight station being transformed to a logistics center, problems must be faced when station work operations do not adapt and transport equipment is not matched to all of the process logistics demands. This paper discusses the present problems and transformation strategies of a railway freight station development with all of the process logistics. At the same time, with a typical traditional freight station as an example, an analysis of the problems of a railway freight station transforming to a logistics center is put forward. The improvement plan includes updated handling equipment for the station and cooperation with the third party logistics, finally coming to reference conclusions through this example.

Travel time - especially reliable travel time information - is important both for travelers and traffic managers. In this paper, an urban travel time distribution model based on shockwave theory and queuing theory will be developed. The model considers stochastic processes at intersections and takes into account signal coordination between intersections. The queue spillback phenomenon is explicitly modelled using shockwave theory in a probabilistic way. The model's estimated results are further compared with VISSIM simulated probe vehicle data. It shows that the proposed route travel time distribution estimation model can perform well in conditions where spillback happens.

Recently, traffic jams are becoming more and more frequent in many big cities of China in the joint section of the freeway on/off-ramp and its adjacent intersection with the increase of vehicles. Even more serious, the traffic jam at traffic nodes will spread towards larger areas. This paper discusses some traffic problems of a typical on-ramp of an elevated expressway with an adjacent intersection. On these bases,asignal control scheme of the intersection and some traffic management measures are proposed to ensure that the on-ramp is unblocked and to increase the capacity of the on-ramp joint. By simulation of Vissim, the improvement measures proposed are proved to be effective. The research results can provide reference for construction of freeways and the urban intelligent traffic management system.

As the result of traffic state clustering, only the characteristics of the data itself are represented; it lacks traffic theory basis. The consistency verification is proposed in this paper. Firstly, using the traffic state dividing theory from the perspective of combining theory and practice, the traffic state dividing machine is constructed based on Fuzzy C-means Clustering. Secondly, the completeness of detecting data on the road section is classified into three types:(1) contains congestion, but lacks top data in the statistical period; (2) contains both congestion and top data; and (3) does not contain congestion. Thirdly, the consistency of the clustering result and traffic state dividing theory is verified by a non-parametric statistical test method. Finally, data is taken from 43 dual-loops on the eastern side of the Shanghai north-south expressway for 10 days as examples, and the empirical analysis is realized. The results show that the samples of the first and second types are all successfully verified. That is to say, the traffic state clustering results of these two types can be taken as the final result of traffic state identification, but the clustering results of the third type need be modified by regression analysis.

The reasonability of u₁ = 0 and the differences of a non-base variable's test number between u_i = 0(i ≠ 1) and u_i = 0 are discussed in this paper. It was proved that, under the circumstances of invariant base variable, the test number of a non-base variable is consistent.

In China, the metro extension line plays an important role in connecting suburban groups and the central city. In order to study the travel characteristics of the metro extension line area residents, this paper designs and implements an RP survey, taking the Chengdu metro line 2 as an example. The analysis of the survey data contributes to some residents' travel preferences and characteristics.

Based on the statistics of the railway network and social economy in 2000, 2005 and 2010, the grey correlation theory is used in this paper to calculate the correlation degree between network evolution of railway lines and social economic development with railway network structure indexes and social economic indicators. The result indicates that a strong correlation exists between them.

System configuration capacity and the structure of comprehensive transportation corridors vary due to the differences in natural condition, social economic level, and location within its network and its own utilities. This paper brings up a two-step method of highway facility structural allocation based on analysis of influence factors of facility allocation within a comprehensive transportation corridor. First, build a modified incremental Logit model, do a mode split and confirm the traffic flow on each link per kilometer by twice route distribution. Then, construct an evaluation system using AHP to filter the feasible plans in order to pick out the optimal plan which could satisfy not only the transport need, but also could coordinate development with other transportation modes. Last, conduct road infrastructure optimization in the eastern transport corridor of Hainan as a case study. The development of a city is separated into several stages:(1) the infancy stage, powered by human or natural forces; (2) the developing stage, stimulated by canal and railway transport; and (3) the mature stage, based on integrated transport methods. Each transport mode differs from others, leading to the competitive and cooperative relations between those modes. From a system optimization point of view, Dong Kun (Dong Kun, 2010) and Si Bingfeng (Si Bingfeng, 2005) casted research on the corridor structural optimization for relatively stationary OD points, which solved the coordination and optimization problem for the competitive relationships in the corridor. Yet, the drawback is the lack of analysis of needs and supply, only feasible for very limited cases. Therefore, this paper allocated highway facilities in the corridor for each stage by taking consideration of each mode's supply characteristics regarding the corresponding stage's transport needs, respectively, based on the system planning points of view (Wang Jianwei, 2004).

This paper investigates the internal relationship of the line planning problem. A bi-lever model was built according to the mathematical description of the problem. In the model, the top layer aimed at achieving the train's rank, route and service frequencies with the objective to minimize the total operation costs and total travel time for passengers. The bottom layer focused on the stop-schedule defined by the grade of the train and station with the objective of maximizing the total number of stops. The bi-lever model has linear integer programming and solves by a bi-lever iterative algorithm to get the local optimal solution. Finally, this model is also illustrated by the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway in China, which proves the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.

Drivers' illegal tendentiousness was measured and assessed scientifically by use of the scenario experiment, dynamic simulated driving scenes and the fuzzy signal detection theory. The sensitivity index "d" and the response bias index β were quantitatively evaluated. Finally, the illegal tendentiousness of 5 drivers was compared to identify the higher ones - those who would not be willing to abide by the traffic laws. They would be given more education to help them understand the vital function of the traffic laws and regulations in guaranteeing traffic safety so that they will reduce their illegal tendentiousness by themselves.

While subways are being accepted and selected by more and more people, they are also facing an urgent need for improvement in service quality and competitiveness. The ticket vending machine (TVM) is an important tool for communicating with passengers and plays an important and highlighted role. Based on behavioral characteristics of different passengers, effectively regulating the number of TVM and types of passenger queues has practical significance. Firstly, use a triple α / β / γ to describe the problem. An optimization scheduling problem regards minimizing manufacturing as the goal, with machine usage restrictions and the "first in-first out" principle. Then, establish a mathematical model. Secondly, using plant growth simulation algorithm designs algorithm. Finally, the case study demonstrates the algorithm's feasibility and efficiency.

This paper analyzes the current railway freight business processes, finds out problems in the process, and proposes the targets and design ideas of process re-engineering of railway freight logistics. Through establishment of a freight information system, relying on e-commerce platform, and re-engineering the entire processes of railway freight traffic, new processes which adapt to the development of railway freight logistics are proposed. With the deepening of China's WTO accession and the rapid development of information technology, as well as the great entrance of international logistics companies, China's railway transport enterprises are facing good opportunities for rapid development under an e-commerce environment and big challenges in the external, increasingly fierce competition (Liu Zuoyi, 2002). E-commerce, as a new operation mode, promotes railway freight develop standardization, integration and networking, and proposes new requirements for a rail freight background operation mode. It requires railway freight companies to use new business ideas and management models to rethink the railway internal business processes, optimize operation procedures, standardize the transportation course and reduce transportation costs in order to meet the requirements of the development of railway freight logistics.

Express freight transportation plays an important role in railway transportation, and the express freight train diagram is the integrated plan for railway freight transportation. This paper discusses the coordinating methodology during the express freight train scheduling process. Based on analysis of the procedure of a railway transportation plan and its relationship to other railway operation plans or technical work, the coordination between express freight train scheduling and railway station operation, passenger train plans, maintenance time window plan and locomotive scheduling were considered. Some proposed methods were put forward to optimize the express freight train diagram, which would be of benefit to the quality and robustness of the express freight train.

According to residents' travel factors, five major factors were chosen to be rated and quantified. Then, they were combined with quantitative criteria in public transport and private car travel, and resident travel utility values were obtained with Perceptible Useful Value (PUV). PUV was then used as revenue, and groups A and B as participants, with travel options for the residents' travel as a strategy to establish the game model. Through the model, we get the residents' travel Nash equilibrium and social maximal solution. The model shows that the bus priority policy can be made to maximize social benefits. Finally, in order to improve the model, we made some bus priority measures which are proposed for the five major factors.

Motor and non-motor vehicles' mixed pattern, which causes accidents frequently, is widespread in the Chinese road transport organization. In the foundation of studying the motor and non-motor vehicle collision mechanisms, PC-CRASH was used to establish collision dynamic simulation models for cars and bicycles. Cyclists are considered as an unprotected, vulnerable group. Corresponding preventive measures are put forward which are beneficial to the development of road traffic safety warning and collision prevention research, aimed at providing certain references to intelligent transportation research in pedestrian-car collision warning.

This article optimizes the network with an objective of minimum transport costs and risks based on the analysis of the China oil import network's general condition and the adoption of a multi-objective programming model. The method of transport in the study includes the pipeline with the focus on the significance of the China Myanmar pipeline project in addition to traditional seaborne transport. The conclusion is that the Myanmar pipeline can efficiently reduce the risk.

With the rapid development of high-speed railways, high-speed railway express freight trains - which operate as passenger trains to transport some fast goods, such as intercity parcels - brings a probable rewarding opportunity. In this paper, the high-speed railway express freight train's operation diagram comprehensive optimization model is built based on the value of time consumption and economic benefits for transportation enterprises. The genetic algorithm was employed to get a solution to the model, then a model dedicated algorithm was designed and its effectiveness was verified by experimental practice. The China Railway Express Company will set up high-speed railway express business in 20 cities from April 1, 2014. Using high-speed railway to transport express freight is one of the best ways for those in the transportation industry. High-speed railway transport express freight is not affected by factors such as traffic jams or air traffic control, and the degree of punctuality is very high in addition to extreme weather conditions. Using the high-speed railway to transport express freight has very strong competitiveness from the aspects of timeliness and cost. Many domestic scholars have discussed the feasibility of using high-speed railway to transport express freight. They all agree that using high-speed railway to transport express freight is completely feasible according to its advantages, future development, and tariff. Nanchang Railway Bureau and Guangzhou Railway (Group) Corporation experimented with the use of high-speed railway to transport express freight and achieved some accomplishments. However, if high-speed railway express freight trains are organized and operated as passenger trains, there is an issue of how to optimize the train operation diagram. This paper attempts to build the comprehensive optimization model of a high-speed railway express freight train operation diagram to solve the problem according to the indexes of time limitation and cost effectiveness of a transportation enterprise.

Based on the high-speed railway station handling both high-speed and conventional trains, this paper analyzes the calculation methods of equipment capacities in the passenger flow line, as well as the adaptability and compatibility of all equipment in the high density rush hours. The service level rankings of key equipment are determined and the evaluation system with indexes is then established for equipment adaptability and service level.

Adaptability of the recommended distance between the exits and entrances of mainline and auxiliary expressways is discussed in this paper. Based on the survey data of Chengdu's 3^rd Ring Road, the influence of traffic volume and changing ratio of traffic flow on road sections with 210 m between exit and entrance can be evaluated by using evaluation indictors such as traffic volume on exits and entrances, queuing length, and average vehicle delay by simulation of VISSIM. According to the simulation results, theoretical research on the distance between exits and entrances, considering more factors, should be carried out and the design scheme of exits and entrances could be verified by simulation.

Aiming at the characteristics of overload prediction of a small amount of data, a large amount of random, complex factors using gray prediction and Markov prediction in combination forecasting method is proposed, the grey Markov prediction of an overload. The method uses the grey prediction model establishment of overloading of historical information and, according to the results of the overloading, is divided into a number of states according to a Markov model is established to predict the status transfer model. Prediction accuracy can be assisted as a result of the detection analysis method.

An express freight train working diagram, whose reliability and precision has a decisive influence on the level and the quality of express fight train service, plays a crucial role in express freight transportation organization. The express freight train is divided into two classes - fast freight train and direct freight train - and establishes a principle of making an express freight train working diagram. This paper presents a series of methods for making an express freight train working diagram, which includes "making the freight train line and the passenger train line in the same measure depends on the speed level of the train" and "making the freight train and the passenger train share the same scale for locomotive operation". The methods are conducive to improving the quality of an express freight train working diagram and completes the theory of express freight transportation organization.

Aiming at maximizing traffic network efficiency, alleviating environmental pollution and minimizing reconstruction cost, this paper develops a bi-level multi-goal programming for traffic microcirculation on urban network: (1) the upper level concerns are about branch way expansion and mixing network design problem, and (2) the lower level is a combination model that both follows the user-equilibrium and balance of traffic flow. Then, the paper solves the model by using the genetic algorithm. This paper sheds lights on traffic microcirculation projects' decision-making and construction process.

To improve the safety level of large and heavy freight transportation, and to improve the efficiency of rail freight transportation, an automatic out-of-gauge identification system for large and heavy freight has been developed in the present paper. The developed system adopts information, including the three-view drawing of the freight and the user-specified type of train vehicle. It then performs a comprehensive analysis to obtain a three-dimensional structure of the freight by comparing it with the gauge of railway, finally resulting in the automatic out-of-gauge identification technology for freight loading. The system can help choose the train vehicle before the transport of goods, and provides the level of out-of-gauge to ensure the safety of the transport.

In the background of rapid urbanization, the unscientifically and irrationally designed urban highways have been the main barriers to the integrity of the rural-urban infrastructure. This article takes the Xindu District as an example. On the basis of the fieldworks, it points out that the current highway network system, which was manipulated by traffic departments, is inadequate in the overall consideration for industries, lifestyle, ecology and the environment. The article raises the methodology of systematic planning. The planning shall be realized by the design of the density, alignment, cross-section and the pavement of the highways.

In order to meet the cargo demands of Ro-Ro and Drayage transportation in Liaoning, Shandong and their surrounding areas, this paper plans a Ro-Ro and Drayage transportation corridor between Shandong and Liaoning. Combining the factors that affect the planning of transportation corridor, this paper firstly uses the Fuzzy C-means Clustering method that is based on the objective function. Secondly, this paper establishes a model of transportation corridor planning and analyzes the fuzzy clustering of the ports and their hinterland. Finally, the paper concludes that the Weifang and Yingkou ports are suitable for the Ro-Ro and drayage transportation of cargos in Bohai Bay. Based on the result of clustering, the corridors between Shandong and Liaoning are constructed, which can provide a reference for the planning and construction of the Ro-Ro and Drayage transportation corridors.

In this paper, based on existing equipment and combined with the experience of learning improvement in railway out of gauge tester design gives practical advice.

The design level of urban transportation planning is an important symbol to measure a city's modernization level. Improving the design level is of great significance for the performance of city functions, as well as the development of the regional economy. This paper firstly expounds on the main contents, basic ideas of the planning and the development tendency of current urban transportation planning. It then takes Paris, Hong Kong, and Seoul as examples to show the view's applications in actual traffic planning. Finally, it analyzes the reconstruction of Second Ring Road in Chengdu with the view of putting forward its own opinions.

Two cases of marine oil spill emergency scheduling are discussed under the influence of time-varying characteristic for sudden and weak economy features of marine oil spill emergency issues. In order to maximize the possibility of the earliest emergency start time and minimize the emergency relief delay, a real-time scheduling optimization model is built and the stratified sequence method is used to solve the model. The results show that the accident area diffusion time has a great influence on the emergency scheduling scheme. The model can be solved in a short time, which can guarantee the real-time scheduling of the emergency and provide scientific decision support for rescue command scheduling.

On the basis of analyzing the factors that affect emergency logistics channel selection decisions, this paper builds the evaluation index system for just such events. This paper also builds a comprehensive evaluation method based on rough set theory and improved extension theory, by which we can get the emergency logistics channel selection decision sequence and the reliability level of all of the alternative emergency logistics corridors. Finally, the paper verifies the viability of the evaluation method through case study. This paper expands the application field of the extenics theory, changes the traditional method for emergency logistics channel selection decisions, and provides new thoughts and methods for emergency logistics channel selection decisions.

In order to improve a ship's delivery of emergency materials fast and effectively, it is necessary to make a study of the container terminal location-assignment problem. A multi-objective optimization model was developed to minimize the sum of transportation costs, transshipment costs and emergency starting funds, as well as the total time of transportation emergency materials. An improved genetic algorithm was also proposed to solve the model. Finally, the validity of the model and algorithm was demonstrated by a numerical example.

The traditional mode of storage for emergency materials is by the government. In recent years, China advocated for the government and enterprises to establish multi-level and multi-mode methods of storage to save costs and improve efficiency. This paper uses a mathematical model to establish a cooperative game premise condition. It then analyzes the emergency material storage cooperative game between the government and the enterprise and establishes binding cost apportionment and punishment measures to get a stable cooperation so that both sides obtain the greatest benefit.

With the carbon trading policy, it's important for enterprises to use a production and pricing strategy. This paper aims to make a study of a joint production and pricing strategy for manufacturing enterprises by establishing cost functions and the newsboy model. Enterprises will sell out their remaining quotas if the carbon emission is less than its emission quota. This paper shows that the carbon emission quota will adversely impact profit for enterprises. At the same time, under the carbon cap-and trade policy, the differences between an enterprise's carbon emission and its carbon quota are compared, and are then compared to the cost of purchasing carbon quotas per unit and marginal profit of producing products. Based on that, the enterprise will decide whether to sell its remaining quotas and then stop production directly or purchase a certain amount of carbon quota and continue producing.

Recently, the low-carbon economy has become a hard target for each country because of global warming. A low-carbon economy is a new challenge for China, and it is a new opportunity to develop the economy with low-carbon effect. On this basis, as major emitters of CO₂, enterprises have taken measures to conserve energy and reduce emissions. One effective measure is "green-tech", which has played an important role in solving the problem of striking a balance between economy and environment. This paper takes manufacturers as research objects and investigates production strategies of two non-substitution products in random demand implementing green-tech under the policy. By establishing a newsvendor model and Lagrange function, an optimal production strategy can be reached. Through analysis, we draw some conclusions:(1) optimal output and expected profit can be improved effectively after green-tech implementation under a carbon emissions policy; and, (2) although green-tech implementation will cause the increase of production costs, it will make products greener and reduce carbon emission; and, also, the goals of developing a low-carbon economy can be reached.

For emergency aid after the occurrence of an uncertain demand, the paper construct an Emergency Scheduling Model combined with multi-objective-to-resource. First, the paper uses simulation for a trapezoidal fuzzy number to research the uncertainty of emergency supplies demand. It then builds the demand constraint satisfaction function with multi-resources. Secondly, by scatter time to phase sequence, under the emergency supplies uncertain demand, a multi-objective optimization model of emergency supplies distribution of more reserves points and varieties supplies is set up. Third, in order to determine the order of distribution of materials to affected areas, hybrid fuzzy clustering algorithm is proposed. Finally, to analyze the examples of emergency supplies reserve participating in the actual emergency relief distribution in the Wen Chuan earthquake, examine the multi-objective combinatorial optimization model. As a result, the proposed method in the emergency rescue has strong applicability and good performance, and verifies the rationality of the model and the feasibility of the algorithm.

The research is focused on the service quality of fresh meat cold chain in the context of the whole system, and it studies the key factors which affect the service quality of fresh meat cold chain from the perspective of quality management. The research aims to establish an evaluation system describing the inner rules of the service quality management in fresh meat cold chain logistics, providing support for both service quality evaluation of fresh meat cold chain logistics and standardization of cold chain logistics service in China.

Based on economic sustainability, social sustainability and environmental sustainability, the double-goal optimization model — for which the first goal is to maximize the efficiency of traffic and the second goal is for the establishment of minimum internal cost of a transportation system — the ideal point method is used to solve this model. Chengdu is used as an example to verify the correctness of the model and that an optimized transport structure could reflect the goal of sustainable development of urban passenger transport system.

Emergency projects' optimal resource scheduling is in a complex and dynamic environment. It makes the problem-solving more difficult. Theory of constraints can simplify the complex system problems. Firstly, the problem's characteristics were analyzed from the aspects of the optimal goal, machine environment, processing characters and constraints. The mathematical model was built. Then, the hybrid rescheduling strategy was designed. The least flexible rules were chosen to get the initial solutions combining the problem's characteristics, and to design the improved plant growth simulation algorithm to solve the problem iteratively. Finally, the feasibility and superiority of the designed method was verified by the results of the algorithms.

This article applies a quantitative method to the design route for emergency supply transportation. A qualitative evaluation is applied to all roads for road condition evaluation, and the ones with relatively optimal road conditions are chosen as standby roads for emergency supply transportation routes. The costs for the emergency supply transportation are minimized and the degree of satisfaction for the people who receive emergency supplies is maximized, constructing a multi-objective model for emergency supply route design. Finally, we found an effective solution to the problem based on a simulated annealing algorithm according to the features of emergency routing. Furthermore an assessment of effectiveness was performed through a case study.

Decarbonization is significant to a green supply chain (GSC), making the research of carbon emission of the whole supply chain one of the most important theoretical foundations of GSC's implementation. In this essay, the concept and connotation of GSC based on low carbon emission are analyzed. Meanwhile, recent research findings in this field are inducted and summarized separately in theoretical, scientific and empirical perspectives. In the end, further research directions in this area are pointed out.

A low carbon economy makes the properties of carbon emissions - with the flow of resources, products and services - possess the attribute of reduction value. Therefore, in the process of operation mechanism reform with the goal of low carbon of logistics economy, the government regulation and market transaction of carbon emission will become a very important factor. Carbon emission has become a new resource. To optimize and configure it has a profound impact on logistics economy's operation management and production decision. In view of this problem, this paper contains some rationalization proposals which seek the objective law of demand, making a reasonable price, strengthening the cooperation between the upstream and downstream economies, and paying more attention to carbon price's fluctuation. They will have a certain theoretical and practical significance to the Chinese logistics economy.

A low-carbon passenger transport system plays a major part in building a low-carbon city. It seems to be more and more important to build a system to evaluate it. In this paper, a low-carbon passenger transport evaluation system is built considering the economy and society, resourcing and the environment. Finally, the paper evaluates the development of a low-carbon passenger transport system in different years based on a grey correlation evaluation and a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and taking a city as an example.

To avoid an excess of local resources, this paper studies an assessment of the emergency services ability throughout the region, rather than assessing a single emergency repositories service's ability. Under reverse consideration, the demand points actually received the service capacity, taking into account both the demand and time factors, used satisfaction of model, no outline quantitative with demand and time, by calculating the capacity of each demand point, and finally get the ability of emergency services throughout the region. Then, analysis of the regional reserves library system of service ability of insufficient and improved measures, last making Hunan province as case for further discussion.

Emergency logistics is a new research field in recent years. At present, disaster accidents occur frequently. It caused huge losses to people's lives, property and social economy, so research on emergency logistics management ability has great theoretical and practical significance. Based on the analysis of emergency logistics, emergency management and other basic theory to find out problems existing in emergency logistics management and put forward the improvement proposal, in order to achieve the purpose of enhancement of our country's emergency logistics management ability.

The reverse logistic recycling equilibrium (RLRE) problem is concerned with the recyclable collectors, processors, demand markets and waste dump in the recycling network. The RLRE network is represented by a multi-tiered network from sources destined either for the waste dump or demand markets, and elaborated by using the variational inequality (VI) approach from a system-optimal perspective. A supernetwork representation and a nested diagonalization (ND) solution algorithm is proposed to transform the RLRE problem into a traffic assignment model. A variable-demand problem can be transformed as a fixed-demand problem. The model formulation and the proposed algorithm are tested by a numerical example.

This paper concentrates on analyzing the four processes in detail and attempts to provide a worthwhile reference for contemporary project management and future project development in logistics areas.

When universities host big sports events, there exist numerous logistics activities which have representative features of time, space, regularity and emergency. The Host University and cooperative enterprises must:(1) forrmulate a scientific and feasible plan in view of these features; (2) attach importance to the general control of logistics activities; and, (3) further improve the combination of logistic theories and applications with the purpose of ensuring smooth and safe progress of the events.

Based on the domestic and foreign research status regarding the recycling behavior of household appliances, and combined with the condition of the local recycling situation, this paper uses the initial questionnaire data and then adopts exploratory factor analysis for dimensionality reduction to get the main factors influencing residents' recycling behavior intention of waste household appliances (WHA), which includes environment knowledge, situation awareness, behavioral attitude, population variables, public opinions and regulations. Behavioral attitude and population variables will directly affect residents' actual behavior. Next, those five main factors are analyzed by correlation analysis, regression analysis and difference analysis to obtain the influence degree of each factor. Finally, the conceptual model is established and puts forward useful suggestions about the development of recycling of WHA.

Based on the phenomenon of defective products resulting from the machine and the equipment recession in the process of the production, this paper discusses proper interruption of production, maintenance of machines and defects when closing down the machine. A way of improving product quality was found and, accordingly, obtained the lowest total cost. Finally, this paper composed the numerical example and sensitivity analysis.

Pallets move the world. Currently, there are three methods to manage pallets: transfer of ownership, pallet exchange, and pallet pooling. Particularly, pallet pooling is the most popular management method among the three. Typical pallet pools include Third-Party Owned Pallet Pool, Third-Party Managed Pallet Pool, Cooperation Pallet Pool, and Private Pallet Pool. Besides the four traditional pallet pools, we propose another kind of pallet pool - Loose Pallet Pool - according to Chinese national conditions. A mixed integer programming model, which regards the maximization profit as the target, is established to optimize pallet allocation over a loose pallet pool. We consider customers' choice and recycling time constraints which have not been studied in optimization models of traditional pallet pool allocation. The application of this model is illustrated with an example.

To find out the earth pressure characteristics of a shoulder balance weight retaining wall and backfills deformation, two groups of geotechnical centrifuge model tests are designed based on the highway road shoulder balance weight retaining wall under translation movement. The results show that:(1) earth pressure of the upper wall is linear in distribution and the down wall is a two-segment linear distribution because of the unloading effect which is produced by the equilibrator, and the unloading effect area is about 1/3 of the height of the down wall; (2) the arch effect exists in the top of the upper wall backfills where the compaction degree is high, so the arcing effect is more obvious; and, (3) the soil surface settlement should have a certain correlation to the arching effect which presents in the top of the upper wall, and the arching effect weakening or collapse will cause the soil surface settlement spurt.

When initial depth is small and the class of surrounding rock is poor, excavation construction will strongly influence the existing tunnel. This paper uses a model test and numerical simulation methods to study the influence of excavation construction on the top of the existing tunnel. The study shows that the arch crown occurs at the largest displacement (0.33 mm) and negative moment (-1.2 kN≤m). The arch springing occurs at the largest axial force (320kN) and positive moment (0.69kN≤m). As the excavation proceeds, 3 modes have obvious displacements, axial force and bending moment of changing depth:2.0D, 1.6D and 1.2D, respectively. The displacement, axial force and bending moment were associated with structural soundness, a high degree of tunnel and the impact on the scope is small. Numerical simulation of structural displacement, axial force and bending moment values and test values have the same variation. With shallow tunnel excavation from the vault above a certain distance, the structure stress changes. Appropriate measures to reduce the impact of countermeasures shall be taken.

In order to study elastic-plastic seismic response characteristics of the long span combined highway and railway continuous rigid frame bridge, in this paper, one combined highway and railway continuous rigid frame bridge with the span of 92+2×168+92m is taken as an example. The space finite element model is established by MIDAS to analyze the elastic-plastic seismic response of this bridge. The model is simulated pile-soil interaction by the equivalent soil spring stiffness method, and arranged plastic hinge by Clough model. The computed result shows that, under the worst load condition of frequent earthquake, there is a large surplus of material strength in the key section of the piers, and the eccentric distance and stability coefficient are far less than the regulatory limit. In a rare earthquake, the top and bottom of the piers are the first trick to yield and the first to damage. The non-linear displacement ductility ratios are all much smaller than the limit, of which the maximum is 3.32. This type of bridge has a good seismic performance, and it is suggested to keep the top and bottom of the piers as key sections in the design.

With respect to the heavy rainfalls of the rainy season in Ethiopia and the high porosity in volcanic cinder gravel particles, piping erosion damage may exist in the railway embankment filled with volcanic cinder gravels. Therefore, the on-site seepage tests were carried out to measure the hydraulic gradient of the railway embankment filled with volcanic cinder gravels when rainwater infiltrates, which is the premise of determining the seepage stability of the railway embankment. Test results showed that the seepage coefficient of the embankment is 10.8 x 10-4cm/s and the hydraulic gradient is 1.15. Test results obtained provide data support for the further determination of seepage stability of volcanic cinder gravel-filled embankments.

In order to research the features of an elastic-plastic response of a low-pylon, cable-stayed bridge under a rare earthquake, a Midas model for an elastic-plastic analysis was set up based on the theory of nonlinear time-history analysis and the definition ofabeam-column element model with Clough hysteretic behavior. In this model, a low-pylon, cable-stayed bridge with span arrangement 144 + 288 + 144 m was taken as an engineering background. Three sets of seismic waves accorded with site characteristics of the bridge site were selected, and the elastic-plastic seismic responses of the bridge under rare earthquake were solved. The results showed that:(1) only longitudinal displacement of double thin-wall piers yield and (2) the piers generate unrecoverable residual deformation when entering into an elastic-plastic state. Due to the elastic-plastic seismic response and the ductility seismic norm of the bridge being related to the spectral characteristic of seismic wave, checking the effects caused by only one set of seismic waves will not guarantee security of the ductility seismic design of bridge.

Based on customer preference, product competition, product innovation and enterprise's strategy on innovation management, a three-stage game theory model is built. In the first stage, the government determines a tax-free rate per unit product. In the second stage, enterprises of different innovation strategies choose their innovation level. In the third stage, manufacturers with differing innovation strategies price their goods. Then, by calculation, suggestions are forwarded for government and enterprises to determine the best innovation strategy.

With the rapid development of high-speed railway, civil aviation transportation has received a huge impact. Based on the customer delivered value theory, this paper discusses the basis for passengers to choose the transportation and the method to calculate the total passenger travel cost. In addition, it also deduces the formula to calculate the monthly income from critical passengers. Using the Beijing-Guangzhou flight route as an example, and according to various parameters when passengers choose air travel and high-speed rail travel under different circumstances, this dissertation calculates the monthly income of critical passengers from different levels. Finally, based on the monthly income of critical passengers, it subdivides the Beijing-Guangzhou passenger market into four segments.

The paper first introduces content of the value chain and analyses relationship of the value chain and M&A integration. It establishes an evaluation indicator system based on the value chain by using the factor analysis method, Furthermore, an empirical research is made on the case of the merger of Hainan Airlines to testify to the effectiveness of the above study. This paper first describes the current situation and the reasons for the logistics enterprises and creative talents drain. An evolutionary game model of the logistics enterprises and creative talents is then established from the view of limited rationality. The different kinds of evolutionary stability strategies are analyzed and the long-time stable tendency of both gaming parties is predicted. The results showed that wage, incentives, training, and penalty measures led by quit are key factors which can impact the loss of creative talent. Therefore, logistics enterprises must effectively control the creative talents drain by taking targeted measures. This paper concludes with some management recommendations and provides theoretical and methodological guidance for the logistics enterprise human resource management.

Correlation analysis of enterprise social responsibility and enterprise financial ability has become the research hotspot in recent years. However, there is little research about the correlation of enterprise social responsibility and enterprise financial ability. The positive influence of implementing enterprise social responsibility and promoting enterprise financial ability can not only relieve the misgiving of enterprises in China and make enterprises positively invest the resources into the implementation of social responsibility, but also can encourage enterprises in China to perform social responsibility more positively. Therefore, the study in this paper has practical significance on the enterprises in China.

Organizations in the automobile industry should change their management points in the normal commercial environment. At the same time, organizations should combine the production logistics management with the market's contemporary situation which is oriented by customers. They should start with an eye on the whole supply chain and bring in effective and efficient methods to operate the production logistics and improve the competition of the products. Finally, the paper brings systematic adjustment and planning into force with real improvement and support to the view and situation of the conversion of the market-driven factors with business process rebuilding, lean production, and zero inventory management, taking the example of Japanese and German automobile companies' management experiences.

In this paper, a new anti-collision movable guardrail is designed which is combined of steel pipe truss and steel cables, and the connection is an articulated pattern of steel castings. The overall structure of the movable guardrail is optimized using the finite element simulation method. Finally, vehicles are used to impact the movable guardrail to test and evaluate its safety performance. The test results show that the three directional accelerations are 6.55 g, 7.62 g and 8.09 g during impact. The maximum dynamic deformation of the movable guardrail is 60 cm and the passenger's head performance index HPC is 10. The passenger's chest performance index (THPC) is 15.2 mm and the passenger's leg performance index (FPC) is 0.5 kN. The small vehicle's exit angle is 6.3° and the large vehicle's is 0. There are no overturns, sliding turns or U-turns, no broken movable guardrail, and no riding barriers during impact. The results also indicate that the new movable guardrail satisfies the anti-collision grade Am requirements as stipulated in The Evaluation criteria For Highway Safety Barriers (JTG/T F83-01-2004).

In this paper, the processes are analyzed using the computer simulation method, which vehicle impacts the guardrails that having various friction coefficients in surface. A number of safety performance indexes regarding guardrails are calculated, including vehicle acceleration, maximum dynamic deformation of the guardrail and the angle between the vehicle and the initial center line of guardrail at the point of impact. Then, through analysis of the relationship between the friction coefficient and the performance indexes, we find that there is a linear and increasing relationship between the friction coefficient and the above-cited performance indexes. The study results indicate that we can effectively decrease the value of the above-cited indexes by reducing the friction coefficient in the guardrail surface, thereby improving the safety performance of guardrails.

Current specifications do not stipulate the time criteria for opening the movable guardrails fast. This results in a number of application issues of movable guardrails on the expressway, one of which is that the connection structure is complex and difficult to open. As a result, the movable guardrail lost the important function of opening quickly which significantly affects emergency management on the expressway. According to the application conditions and the characteristics of emergency management of the movable guardrail, this paper analyzes and calculates the time difference between the emergency routes and the normal routes which the emergency vehicles take to reach the site of incident. The results show that it can save time at least 24 minutes if the vehicles travel the emergency route. Finally, considering the existing technical and economic conditions, we propose the maximum time to open the movable guardrail quickly is 12 minutes, which is equal to half of the minimum time difference. It can improve the performance index system of the movable guardrail.

This paper summarizes the research on regional tourism cooperation and the theory of new institutional economics analysis of the mechanism of regional tourism cooperation in an innovation system. It discusses the restriction effect of tourism resources, geographical location, economic foundation, social culture and other congenital regional factors on the regional tourism cooperation. It stresses the importance of system innovation to expand the positive role of regional tourism revenue boundary, establishes the regional tourism cooperation evolution model, and points out the direction for future research.

It will analyze the quality elements and their evaluation dimensions of public service from strategies, results, process and environment, and structure. This leads to development of a public service quality evaluation model based on the circulatory systems including:the service needs-quality target, system-implementation quality, system-quality monitoring and system-quality evaluation system.

The logistics enterprise quantity increased as well as the capital market investment activity that concerns logistics listing Corporation. How to put aside our logistics industry prosperity symptoms, the real value of logistics listing Corporation stock, is a very important problem. This paper takes 66 logistic companies that are listed in our stock market as objects of study, and takes advantage of the dividends discount model (DDM) to analyze stock intrinsic value of logistic listed companies.

Whether the vehicle logistics alliance can establish a fair and rational revenue allocation mechanism or not, it will not only affect the rights and interests of the leaguers, but also directly determine the play of productivity and creativity. Based on the principal-agent theory, this paper established the vehicle logistics alliance revenue allocation model under the condition of the symmetric information and asymmetric information. After the comparative analysis, it is found that the revenue allocation model based on the principal-agent theory can improve the effort level of both sides and increase the alliance`s total revenue. It also identified the relationship between the alliance`s revenue allocation coefficients and the effort level of both the partition and the parameters in the model. The asymmetry of information will reduce not only the effort level of both sides, but will also have an effect on the revenue of both sides, which also verified the validity of the method by case study.

From the sampling of panel data of 143 listed logistics companies in China from 2010-2012, we empirically research the factors which influenced the performance of logistics companies with factor analysis and regression analysis. The results show that the logistics companies' solvency, profitability, and development capacity have had a positive influence on business performance. Compared with the manufacturing enterprises, improving asset utilization and operating income growth have not obviously influenced the operation performance, while the time to market - as well as the enterprise scale - have had a negative relationship with business performance.

Inventory financing in unified credit mode can effectively reduce the transaction costs and risks of banks while increasing the benefits of logistics enterprises. A Stackelberg game model between banks and logistics enterprises in inventory financing was established under symmetric information and the equilibrium interest rate and benefits were acquired. The numerical analysis shows the effect between related factors and equilibrium interest rate and benefits.

Based on the Grey System Theory, an indicator system and evaluation model have been built for the agricultural product logistics industry and low-carbon economy in the context of new urbanization. The dissertation conducted an empirical study on the coupling mechanism between the agricultural product logistics industry and low-carbon economy in Hunan. It illuminated the stress of the agricultural product logistics industry to the low-carbon economy, as well as the impact of the low-carbon economy on the agricultural product logistics industry. It is shown that the coupling strength of the two systems in Hunan Province has a U-shaped trend from 2007 to 2012. Finally, some strategies and suggestions are presented for the influence factors and the coupling characteristics of the two systems.

In order to improve the trading efficiency in the shipping market of Ningbo, reduce the investment risk and promote the transformation and upgrade of Ningbo port, the container freight index scheme of Ningbo (which is comprised of basic data collection methods, a freight index system and freight index calculation methods) is designed by analyzing the main overseas shipping indices and typical domestic shipping indices. The test results of the actual data indicate that the design scheme not only embodies the price fluctuation for special routes in the container shipping market of Ningbo, but also provides effective information for participants and decision-makers in the shipping market.

This paper analyzes and constructs the financing model of micro-enterprise of cotton processing based on the pledge. The model regarded the profit function as an objective function, which includes sales revenue, cost of production, holding cost of product, holding cost of materials, interest and value of the pledge. The pledge quantity and total profit through the model have been obtained. Sensitivity analyses are then performed. Finally, it compares and explains the phenomenon of the inventory financing model of micro-enterprise of cotton processing without value of the pledge and the inventory financing model based on the pledge.

By means of the multivariate regression analysis method, this study analyzes such factors as industrial structure, economic development level, scientific and technological development level and marketization degree affecting the proportion of social logistics cost in GDP. The result shows that the percentage of primary industry has a positive impact on the proportion of social logistics cost in GDP, while that of secondary and tertiary industry has a negative influence on the proportion of social logistics cost in GDP. This reveals the negative influence relationship between the scientific and technological development level and the proportion of social logistics cost in GDP. However, the economic development level and marketization degree have no significant influence on the proportion of the social logistics cost in GDP.

This study uses the method of system dynamics to analyze the effects of logistics transportation infrastructure investment on Chongqing's economic growth. According to a comparison of the simulation results, we found that the logistics transportation infrastructure investment has significant impact on the economic growth of Chongqing. It influenced the primary and the tertiary industries' output value the most, followed by the secondary industry's output value, which indicates that an increase of logistics transportation infrastructure investment could push the output value of three industries to a higher level, making a contribution to Chongqing's economic growth.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether investor relations can reduce the cost of equity capital under the pyramid structure in China. This paper reviews literature and establishes regression models to examine the relationship among controlling shareholders, investor relations and the cost of equity capital. As expected, the paper finds that the better the investor relations level, the lower the level of equity cost, even in the companies with pyramid structure. The current paper contributes to the literature by exploring the way to reduce the cost of equity capital and improving the investor relations level under the background of a Chinese pyramid structure.

Needham-Schroeder (NS) was used to improve the Kerberos protocol, solve the problem of the secret key exchange and management in the storage of power materials with the RFID system which is based on the KDC theory. This improvement not only can reduce the amount of keys, but can also improve the flexibility of the system. The improved authentication process adopts many technologies, such as public key encryption, decryption using private key and simple logic operations. This system adopts the Kerberos authentication protocol. When the reader and tag receive the service session key (Sskey) dispatched by the KDC, and mutual certification is passed, the relevant issues about the limit of an RFID tag's capacity can be resolved by the data encryption method which is based on the AES algorithm.

This paper discusses the results of stated preferences and choice models in express industry research. We established a binary logit model with the three most influential factors of express service:(1) transit time; (2) delivery price; and (3) distance between the demand point and express service point. Our analysis, based on the survey data, showed that different express choice behaviors in China are influenced not only by the three express service factors mentioned above, but also by a wide variety of customer personal factors, including:gender, age, income, delivery frequency each month and goods type. Finally, the model is suggested to estimate express market shares in China.

The news vendor's ordering decision is impacted by the supplementary information obtained from the ordering decision point. The newsvendor cannot get the complete conditional probability and marginal probability when the supplementary information is incomplete. Thus, it cannot obtain the optimal ordering decision with a Bayesian decision and the expected utility theory. Combined with the expected utility theory, this paper establishes a newsvendor ordering decision model under the incomplete supplementary information from the perspective of likelihood probability distribution set, and the newsvendor's optimal ordering decision is deduced. By analyzing the model, we came to the following conclusions. The newsvendor's ordering decision depends on its comprehension for the decision knowledge under the incomplete supplementary information. Finally, the model's availability is examined by a numerical example.

Transportation infrastructure construction supports the transportation system. In order to make the right investment strategy, we must focus on the relationship between transportation infrastructure construction and growth of the economy. On the basic of statistics, the paper applies the Granger causality test to investigate the relationship between the five modes of transportation infrastructure construction and economic growth in China. The results indicate the affect degree between them.

The current tobacco business logistics of China are still in the stage of extensive management, and the profits of cigarette sales have hidden defect management. Facing the pressure of the coming competition brought on by foreign peers who have the advantages of capital and technology, it is absolutely urgent for China's tobacco business companies to improve the level of logistics management and reduce logistics costs. Aiming at the problem, the composition and characteristics of the logistics cost is analyzed respectively according to the procurement, order, storage and distribution management of the tobacco business companies. Taking a concrete company as example, the optimization scheme is presented to reduce the loss from equipment, staff redundancy, operation delay and the waste of resources.

By selecting the indices of transport infrastructure and equipment in four types of transport modes, and using multiple linear regression analysis to analyze the relationship between these two indexes and proportion of social logistics costs to GDP, the article studies the influence of these two factors on social logistics costs in China, and came to the conclusion that the right way to reduce the proportion is to develop the transport industry reasonably and effectively.

As the major indexes for risk control in inventory financing, the relation problems for the impawn rate and the interest rate will have an important impact on the risk decision. This paper analyses the interaction and presents the relation model for the impawn and interest rates, and reaches the conclusion that the two variables meet the positive correlation based on the lowest interest rate level

One of the key issues affecting the development of the supply chain is the profit allocation. Profit allocation refers to the distribution of the total profit among the members of the supply chain. This paper, based on the classic Shapley value method - taking into account investment, risk and other factors - combines the revenue risk method and Shapley value creatively, and proposes an improved Shapley value method. Finally, the validity of the application is verified by an example.

To scientifically evaluate the level of the regional logistics industry's development, as well as choosing the proper strategy for it, this paper has been written on the basis of the status quo of the Chinese logistics industry from four aspects:(1) the logistics scale; (2)the logistics structure (3) the logistics ability; and, (4) the external environment. Twenty-one indicators have been selected to structure the indicator system of the level of the regional logistics industry development.The methodology of the mean square error was also applied to evaluate the development of the Chinese logistics industry in 31 provinces in 2012. Finally, proper suggestions have been brought up with the clustering analysis to comprehensively promote the development of the Chinese regional logistics industry.

The choice of the route for hazardous material road transportation is not made just on the size of the cost of fees, but also considers the risk of accident costs. The route optimization for hazardous material road transportation is an important measure for improving the safety of the transport of hazardous materials. Based on the analysis of the literature, this paper proposes a mathematical route optimization model for hazardous material road transportation. It takes into account the cost of transport safety and enterprise (considering the transportation and risk costs). Then, it uses the linear weight method for various types of transport costs andand transport risk costs to get the lowest transportation costs. Finally, the best route is filtered out such that the transport companies not only save costs but also reduce the transportation risk.

Servitization has received considerable attention by both academics and practitioners in recent years. Contrary to the economic benefits expected, some empirical studies show that the outcome of servitization is mixed due to the hurdles of implementation. Though a lot of researchers have mentioned the challenges that manufacturing firms may encounter, their research is only based on a few case studies or lack of practicality. Based ona systematic literature review of servizitation, in which papers on servitization published between 1988 and 2013 were reviewed, this paper attempts to find the risk factors in the journey towards servitization from a business model perspective. This paper attempts to figure the risks for each element of the business mode, which includes:(1) service strategies; (2) service offering; (3) service process; (4) customers; (5)organizational structure and culture; (6) resources and capacities; (7) supply network; and, (8) social environment. Finally, a holistic framework of the eight risk factors is presented.

On the basis of summarizing the characteristics of logistics services, this paper proposes an integrated logistics service model and presents five evaluation indices. According to the basic principles of subjective and objective weighting methods, an evaluation model is built up by means of a combinational evaluation method based on Multi-Objective Programming and an example is given to validate the practicability of it. The results show that the model can perfectly evaluate the best suppliers.

With logistics parks springing up in China, different types are gradually arisinng based on the core functions and relying objects. Due to the fact that different types of logistics parks have different functions, characteristics and needs, a risk evaluation should be emphasized for each. In combination with the research results on the risk evaluation index system of logistics parks by scholars at home and abroad and full investigation of the typical logistics parks from some different provinces, this paper makes clear the classification of logistics parks and the concept of risk. It identifies the influence factors of the risk of logistics parks of different types using a work breakdown structure method and classifies the influence factors scientifically. On this basis, this paper establishes a more comprehensive and complete risk evaluation index system which can more adequately reflect the actual situation of the risk of logistics parks in different types and provides more powerful reference for the risk control of logistics parks.

An airport site selection is a comprehensive and multi-objective decision-making issue. Scientific and rational airport site selection is of great significance to the regional social and economic development and the construction of a comprehensive transportation system. Based on the established evaluation index system of the airport site selection, the paper proposes a fuzzy reasoning procedure of the evaluation. In addition, a case study was made by employing the FIS toolkit in MATLAB. By making an objective and accurate evaluation of the model with both qualitative and quantitative analysis, the feasibility of the model and algorithm was verified. An airport, as a crucial infrastructure, plays a fundamental and leading role in the national economy, the rational planning of which can improve the regional comprehensive transportation system and facilitate regional, social, and economic development. As a pre-construction stage, airport site selection plays a crucial part in the planning of airport construction. Scientific and rational airport site selection can save construction costs and contribute to the function of airports. It is of profound significance to the regional, social, and economic development and the construction of a comprehensive transportation system.

Selection of the optimal path for a container transport channel was studied here. First, we described the multi-objective optimization problems and the container transport channel network was abstracted. Then, a multi-objective fuzzy compromise programming model was established for the purpose of optimizing the performance composite indicator of the network system and solved it with a labeling algorithm. Finally, an example of the problem shows how it was solved, which provides a theoretical basis for the container channel optimal path research.

This paper discusses the definition of a non-full load vehicle and represents the problem with mathematical language. Based on studying the existing research results at home and abroad, the paper establishes an optimal scheduling model for a non-fully loaded vehicle, and proposed specific calculating processes with the help of a bubble algorithm.

With the development of society and the economy, the scale of the logistics industry has increased dramatically and the effect of logistics operation has played a very important role in economy development. In order to understand the operating mechanism of the logistics system and to provide theoretical support for the improvement of logistics operation, this paper takes the enterprise logistics system as the research object and analyzes its components, operating modes and categories. Finally, this paper points out that the market selection, with the effect of environment, inevitably determines the developmental direction of the logistics system. More importantly, understanding of the cost connotation is the core and prerequisite for the logistics management.

Based on the actual statistics, this article focuses on the analysis of the large depletion of resources and the release of pollution caused by the functional elements in the logistics system. The deep analysis and quantitative evaluation of the environmental impact are two important preconditions to improve the logistics system. The measuring methods for the environmental resources depletion caused by logistics activities are also discussed in this article. It is advocated that the quantitative evaluation should establish the deal price in the market and distinguish the depletion caused by resources and environment in the logistics activities, respectively. The evaluation principles, process and methods are provided in this article.

The Variable Neighbourhood Search (VNS) algorithm is effective in dealing with large-scale combinatorial optimization problems. In this paper, a new approach of VNS was introduced to solve a two-echelon distribution network problem. First, a two-echelon distribution network is described with capacitated facility and time windows. Then, an approach of VNS was developed which was combined with Simulate Anneal Arithmetic. The method for generating a set of initial two-echelon distribution networks isavery important part of the approach. Moreover, the neighbourhood structure and the search algorithms, as well as the termination criteria, have been introduced. The experimental results clearly show that the method is very effective and the quality of the solution is high.

In the process of actual operation, the logistics chain is under stochastic conditions. There are two stochastic conditions in the logistics chain, the random early/delay and random sliding value. The sliding of t' of the random early/delay sliding obeys normal distribution, which parameters are μ_t' and σ²_t'(σ_t' > 0). The sliding value Δt still obeys normal distribution, which parameters are μ_Δte and σ²_Δte(σ_Δte > 0) or μ_Δtd and σ²_Δtd(σ_Δtd > 0). Then, the formulation of the generalized cost at the i-th level in the logistics chain under random state condition is presented. Finally, a numerical example is given to verify the feasibility of the method.

In this article, we propose a framework which applies the newly developed data mining method, Affinity Propagation Method (APM), to tackle the selecting logistics distribution centers problem. The framework is capable of taking simultaneous multi-factors (i.e., traffic condition, freight volume and territorial condition etc) into account while analyzing and automatically determining the number of distribution centers based on associations between potential centers, which, contrary to some traditional selection models (such as P-median), leads to a more comprehensive and integrated selection model. It is worth mentioning that, since distribution centers are an essential link in a logistic system, an appropriately chosen location for a distribution center could entail enhancing operational efficacy and minimization of delivering time and transport cost. We believe that applying APM could be a breakthrough point for network economics or, in our case, logistics. An experiment on the central city of Xichang proves that our framework performs well in practice.

The supply positioning model was always used to classify procurement items, but its longitudinal axis - the impact of purchasing items to the enterprise - has great ambiguity. In this paper, the triangular fuzzy number was used to describe the importance between purchasing items, and the fuzzy judgment matrix was analyzed and defuzzificated. Finally, the steps of the classification method for purchasing items based on the triangular fuzzy number were proposed, and an example was given to verify the application effectiveness of the method.

This paper starts with the definition and characteristics of a railway logistics park. It then discusses the site selection planning by both quantitative and qualitative analyses. The paper selects the site of a railway logistical park by use of the Grey Relational Analysis and the Rough Sets Theory. Then, the paper presents a system of evaluation indices, including:(1) freight operation; (2) infrastructure; (3) location; (4) regional; and (5) resource; and (6) policy support for railway stations. Finally, this paper evaluates an example to show how this method is used in selecting a site for a railway logistical park.

The object of this paper is to research the multiple-depot location routing problem with time windows. This paper establishes a math model of the location routing problem with time windows by first adding the time constraint to the basic location routing problem. It then validates and checks the correctness of this math model in a small-scaled problem using Lingo software. This paper designs a tabu search algorithm to solve a Location Routing Problem with Time Windows (LRPTW) for large-scale problems, and uses data of different scales to test the designed algorithm. The results indicate that the proposed algorithm is valid and feasible, being able to solve the problem steadily with high speed.

Copper is used for research on the problem of how to measure risk. The Monte Carlo method is used to calculate the risk value of Yangtze #1 copper with a loan period of three months. It then calculates the financing efficiency and risk control as compared with the empirical method. The results show that not only can it control risk effectively, but also conspicuously improves the efficiency of inventory finance.

Intelligent logistics" is the vision of further development of the logistics system. It is also the inevitable harbor of the long-term development of logistics management. Throughout the development of the logistics industry in our country, inadequate investment in technology, stereotypical management tools, obsolete operation model, and vulnerable environmental protection are the main constraints. Construction of an "intelligent logistics platform" for optimization of the logistics system environment has become an important breakthrough in moving towards "intelligent logistics". Creation of the "intelligent logistics platform", based on The Internet of Things Management Model, needs to build the perception terminal, the transmitting terminal, the cloud terminal and the application terminal as its logical starting point, thereby establishing a basic skeleton of the intelligent logistics platform. At the same time, the intelligent logistics platform security system which contains transformation from decentralized management mechanism to centralized management mechanism, the "top-down" macro planning, shirting the nodal process management to granular intelligent services, enhancing of the capacity of logistics information resources integration and data mining cannot be ignored.

When logistics parks are operated and managed by the Management Committee, the coordination and management is hard work because it is required to coordinate the relations between the resident enterprise and clients in the park. The interest of logistic enterprises and the whole benefit to society must also be considered. Using the dynamic game method of the Stackelberg model for reference, this paper specifically analyzes the game relationship of various bodies in the logistics park and sets up a Stackelberg game model at two stages. Then, through analysis for equilibrium results of the model, the optimal scale of generation is attained. In the end, a simple numerical example serves to illustrate the presented model and some conclusions are drawn.

The study on site selection of a logistics center is of great importance. The construction and operation of a logistics center brings significant impacts on economic development and to the ecological environment on surrounding areas, even the whole city. This paper puts forward a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to make systematic and quantitative evaluation and to provide a basis for site selection. The method is carried out on the basis of the secondary fuzzy comprehensive evaluation framework. Then, a scoring method is used to determine the membership degree of evaluation factors and the analytic hierarchy process to ascertain the weight of evaluation factors. Finally, the paper uses the method to evaluate and choose the best site selection for a certain logistics center, and good results have been achieved.

Based on the cost and profit, and considering the unit cost of materials and the material utilization, with the methods of probability theory and mathematical statistics, an inventory control model is proposed under the condition of unstable demand. Afterwards, the supply volume and safety stock can be reasonably determined. The model can be applied to and will bring practical significance for the inventory control of modern enterprises.

The investigation of probability weighting is one of the key components of the modern, risky, decision-making theories. In this study, we propose an approach to build a novel probability weighting model with the use of the Lagrange interpolation method based on Prelec's probability weighting function model. The proposed model can not only reflect the empirical regularities, but also maximize the satisfaction degree of the curve fitting for the experimental data. The most significant achievement is that our paper makes a methodological contribution to develop a numerical method for constructing the probability weighting model.

In the evolution of the urban logistics network, cost is critical and distance is very important. Taking them as driving mechanisms, this paper proposes an evolution model attempting to mimic a real urban logistics network's growth. Numerical simulations reveal that the distributions of degree and strength show good power law behavior; yet, the distribution of weight does not follow typical power-law behavior, revealing the uneven distribution of volume in the network. The nonlinear correlation between the strength and degree indicates a "rich get richer" phenomenon. Besides, the clustering coefficients, both topological and weighted, illustrate that nodes with small degree most incline to aggregate, yet those with high degree behind.

The study of a comprehensive evaluation of a distribution center has great practical value. Through the building retail network, this paper analyzes the generalized cost of each link. It then constructs the comprehensive evaluation model of each edge. Finally, this paper uses comprehensive evaluation to solve the location problem of a distribution center with alternative points and build location model.

Through the introduction of variable weight, the membership function of equity and efficiency preference in a logistics facility location was defined. On this basis, a logistics facility location model, based on p-median problem, was constructed. After the process of location under equity and efficiency preference was proposed,agenetic algorithm was used to solve a case which included a logistics facility location under equity or efficiency preference.

The demand for and provision of materials in manufacturing enterprises form a complex logistics supply and demand network. By studying the characteristics of the manufacturing enterprises' streamlined network - taking supply time, amount and logistics cost of the goods during various logistics links as the important factors influencing the comprehensive weight - as well as considering that the additional logistics expense caused by supply time and supply quantity would have different impact on logistics costs according to the different situations, this paper establishes a weighted complex model of generalized cost on the logistics supply and demand network of manufacturing enterprises.

This paper reports the present situation of bulky cargo (BC) transport in Sichuan Province. With the development of Sichuan's major equipment manufacturing industry (MEMI), the demands for BC transport are analyzed. It shows the exiting BC transport corridor capacity cannot meet the rapidly growing demands for BC transport. Three different schemes of BC transport corridor are proposed. The features and feasibility of three BC transport corridors are analyzed and compared in this paper. It is concluded that the exiting BC corridor should be upgraded and adopted at present and in the near future. In the long term, it is recommended to build a new Deyang-Luzhou-Chongqing BC transport corridor without waterway shipping capacity constraints.

In this paper, the disassembly process of the reverse logistics process is selected as a case for establishing the Heuristic petri net model of the disassembly process. It utilizes a fuzzy inference model to dynamically solve problems on heuristic factors and observes the impact of the change for uncertain information on the selection of optimal disassembly process and eventual returns, the results of which testify to the importance of a reasonable dynamic business process optimization program and provide a feasible thinking pattern and method for dynamic business process optimization.

Based on the given information of the container storage situation in the container yard and container ship stowage plan, the container loading sequence problem was discussed. Considering the actual constraints, (i.e., customs examination), a mixed integer programming model was proposed by minimizing the number of relocations during the loading process. Furthermore, a heuristic algorithm was developed. Numerical simulations showed the effectiveness and practicality of both the model and the algorithm.

This paper constructs an aviation logistics network of fractal structure characteristics according to the features of Chinese aviation network topology. Based on a deep understanding of the conception of a complex networks' fractal dimension, we use the improved greedy coloring method to obtain the box numbers under different scales of the network. The scale and the corresponding box number in log-log coordinates follow power-law distribution, and then prove that the network model is the fractal network.

With the development of a rail freight marketing concept and China's freight reform, the mode of rail freight production gradually transformed from production-oriented to service-oriented logistics. Under the condition of marketization, the transport efficiency and service quality have become important factors for measuring the level of product design and development work. Therefore, on the basis of analysis for the factor of freight production structure, this paper proposes using a combination of push and pull methods in the design of the freight product. Based on the feedback control principle, this paper builds the freight product design process to provide a new idea for rail freight product development work.

A cellular automata model of a port bonded logistics park has been set up and is composed of an external road, intersections and check passage based on the STNS model. A Tianjin port bonded area passageway has been simulated according to the characteristics of the traffic requirements of Tianjin port terminal handling changing over time. This paper has compared the traffic capacity of different passageways and intersections, determined a set of optimized schemes - including the number of passageways, length of queue area and intersection signal timing - to reduce the time cost.

Storage location assignment is of great significance in warehouse management. According to the characteristics of task scheduling, time-based, multi-objective models for storage allocation and scheduling optimization are proposed in this paper. Then, a genetic algorithm is used to solve the multi-objective optimization problem for storage location assignment and scheduling. It adopts matrix codes and crossover operation of different objectives. Finally, simulation experiments show the effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithm.

To rationally arrange the areas of a distribution center, considering the relevance of all areas, the evaluated objective was defined by the maximal matching degree between the processing capacity and demand of every layout. The streamlined choice model was set up with the objective, and it was applied to evaluate three layouts. The research shows that project C - a distribution center facility layout - is better than others, and the model above is efficient at solving the facility layout of a distribution center.

This paper analyzes the background of constructing the logistics system of the expressway service area and then studies the feasibility of expanding the logistics function. Then, it discusses the pros and cons of this system based on the Internet of Things to explore its construction. This paper proposes the use of the Internet of Things technology to build a platform for the logistics information of the service area, thus constructing the logistics system of the service area on the basis of the expressway network.

The supplying capacity of railway transportation, known as railway transport capacity, is provided by railway transportation in the certain methods of transportation organization and management. It is produced by both fixed and mobile equipment. Research on capacity coordination between each subsystem of railway transportation is a prerequisite for excavating potential transport capacity and directing railway transportation production. This paper discusses the railway transportation capacity system and analyzes the acting mechanism of factors influencing the capacity coordination of railway transportation. It then discusses the method for coordinating capacity between each subsystem of railway transportation. Finally, it discusses the information system framework of capacity coordination among railway transportation.

As new science and technology fields of the future develop, the Internet of Things leads the world's third information revolution, affecting our production and life. Given the problems existing in current logistics distribution and the utilization of GIS, GPS and sensor technology, the system of intelligent logistics distribution based on the Internet of Things is discussed in this paper. It improves operations such as task scheduling and coordination, transit monitoring and performance management. It focuses on analyzing the overall structure, workflow and functional module of the system. This system solves problems - like the high cost of transportation and low efficiency and security of the current logistics distribution - and realizes the cyberization, intelligentization and informatization of logistics distribution.

With the improvement of railway information systems, there are already calls, e-commerce, Wechat and other service platforms with many features such as dynamic information inquiries, delivery formalities and real-time order tracking. However, the railway system has less research on the basic data and its display platform. Here, the visualization technology will be used to display the data in a new way. First, customers' requirements are analyzed in order to make better use of data. Then, the data visualization technology and platform architecture are analyzed to translate the existing railway freight data into information charts that customers want to see and a variety of information release channels are compared. Finally, not only will transparency and customer experience be enhanced, but customer loyalty will also be improved.

The rate of passenger transport accidents is not low, and lack of supervision is a major cause. In order to improve supervision of the passenger transport, this paper builds a passenger transport intelligent supervision system based on the technology of the Internet of things (IOT). It analyzes the feasibility of the IOT technology which is used in an intelligent supervision system of passenger transport. The system can monitor the driver's physiological indexes, the condition of vehicle technology, the condition of roads, and the traffic environment in real time. Finally, the development prospects of an intelligent supervision system based on IOT is discussed.

In order to alleviate urban traffic congestion and improve the efficiency of public transportation, a model for an Advanced Traveler Information System (ATIS) is proposed in this paper by creatively combining the Internet of Things (IoT) and the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). The key technologies involved in application of this system are discussed in detail. Finally, by comparing several evaluation methods of ATIS, the multi-objective decision and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) are considered as auxiliary methods of evaluating ATIS based on the traditional benefit-cost analysis.

With the development of a customer-oriented business philosophy in the railway freight industry of China, the degree of customer satisfaction has become more and more important as one of the factors that influences the competitiveness for railway freight. In this paper, the features of multiple data sources of railway freight business are analyzed and evaluation parameters are selected. Then, the customer satisfaction evaluation index system is established, and the acquisition method of measure indicators is analyzed. Finally, a case is presented.

In this paper, two core questions are studied regarding:(1) the location of a distribution center, and (2) the problem of selecting a distribution path. In the problem of the distribution center's location, a comprehensive consideration of various factors affecting site selection and the candidate point of distribution center is determined by spatial analysis of GIS. We then use the P-median Selecting Location Model to determine the distribution center. For the distribution path, we establish the road network topology using GIS technology combined with an algorithm and using the network analysis function to achieve the shortest path of distribution.

The requirements for university sports event logistics have features such as information diversification, network intelligentization, accuracy, safety, timeliness, flexibility and eco-friendliness. In this paper, a specific analysis has been given for the service modes of university sports event logistics and supplier's logistics, as well as third party logistics. An idea for building an integrated service mode for university sports event logistics is put forward.

This research is conducted by using an intermediate cross-platform, web service interface for an application server program with SML format data exchange via HTTP, the SP-supplied SMS, and the MMS channel for secondary development. In addition, it uses upstream storage and the judgment downlink to execute agricultural transactions such as buy, sell, and attendance. It tracks hours of attendance and other aspects of intelligent docking by comprehensively utilizing the wireless communication technology in the agricultural industry application. SMS MMS-based smart docking technology can reduce the excessive intermediate links and establishes a timely supply & demand relationship between farmers and buyers. It also connects farmers with experts without delay, which ensures immediate access to technological knowledge about the prevention and cure of crop diseases and pests, thus promoting the agricultural output (Miao, 2011). The use of SMS MMS-based smart docking technology makes visual and vivid communication possible by way of adding media files as pictures and sounds on the basis of SMS smart docking technology.

An intelligent transportation system (ITS) is a new type of modern traffic information system. Cloud computing is a large number of computing resources connected by a network of unified management and scheduling, constituting a computing resource pool for users on demand service. With the rapid development of cloud computing technology, it is an inevitable trend that cloud computing will be applied to the ITS. According to automation scheduling of IT resources and excellent expansibility, construction and operation costs could be greatly reduced and system performance could be promoted efficiently. In this paper, combining the the use of cloud platform with a real-time database is more complete. Cloud computing analysis of an optimal route can provide greater safety and smoother quality for users of the travel service.

Railway freight transport is an important means of transporting products and living materials. With the construction and transformation of a railway network and the popularization of the internet, it's a good opportunity for China's railway transportation to develop railway freight based on e-commerce. However, a series of problems - such as low security performance, a lack of variable ways for providing business, and the absence of an information-sharing platform for aviation and ports - have been hindering further development and application of e-commerce in railway freight transportation. First, this paper analyzes current opportunities for railway freight in e-commerce and the development experience of foreign railway freight. Then, it puts forwards a railway freight system based on e-commerce that is suitable for the development of China and designs the specific function modules of the system. Finally, it makes further analyses of the advantages, disadvantages, applicability and feasibility of the system.

This paper focuses on a loose pallet pool which could maximize the use of idle pallets scattered in various parts of the world. First, the concept, operation model and operation process of a loose pallet pool are briefly discussed. Then, a loose pallet pool information platform based on cloud computing is proposed because the effective implementation of a loose pallet pool system needs an information platform to support. The architecture of a loose pallet pool information platform includes four layers (from the bottom to the top), which are: (1) Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS); (2) Platform as a Service (PaaS); (3) Software as a service SaaS); and (4) interface. Finally, it is proposed to establish a loose pallet pool information platform based on Google App Engine.

A railway information sharing platform is the key technology to realize the railway information systems connectivity, integration and optimization of all kinds of information resources in railway companies. The system security requirements analysis is the foundation of controlling the system security. With the technical features analyzed and the key business processes described, information security requirements are pointed out as access control security, information transmission security, data storage security and building a unified security control center. Demand analysis is the premise of railway information sharing platform security technology implementation. Due to historical reasons, most Chinese railway information systems have little interaction and become "Information Island". In order to solve these problems, the need is urgent for the construction of a railway information sharing platform connecting the various systems to share information and optimizing the overall effect of system construction. To ensure security of the information sharing platform, the security demands of the platform must be made clear. In this paper, the key security requirements are put forward for laying the foundation for system security.

As parking is an essential part of the transport system, order and efficiency directly affect the function of the entire transport system. Analysis of the existing parking guidance system found that there was one essential problem - how to ensure the real-time and accuracy of the guidance information. To solve this problem, this paper:(1) introduces the advanced Internet of Things technology; (2) establishes an accurate and efficient venue berth guidance information system, as the extension and supplement of the existing parking guidance system; (3) take advantage of the real-time berth information and the driver's preference information; and (4)further enhance efficiency in the use of the parking guidance system.

An electronic bus stop board is mainly used to show the position of the bus, most of which is based on GPRS technology. The GPRS-based electronic bus stop board is made up of a bus module, an electronic station board, a management control centre server, and a GPRS communication network. The GPRS-based electronic bus stop board transfers the bus running information between the bus, electronic station board and the central server with the help of GPS positioning technology and the GPRS communication network. This allows the bus running status to be released and updated in a timely fashion. As an important part of intelligent transportation system, the electronic bus stop board based on GPRS provides great convenience to passengers and managers.

Currently, railway freight has basically established a marketing decision support system. Here, the application of big data technology in the marketing of railway freight is discussed. Then, the sources of railway freight marketing data and data collection methods are analyzed. Furthermore, the processing architecture of big data for railway freight marketing is given. Finally, marketing decision-makers of railway freight can use the big data technology to provide the new decision basis.

At present, there are some serious problems in the use of information from the Chinese railway departments, such as:(1) the low degree of transparency; (2) the precipitate waste of historical data; and, (3) the low utilization rate of resources. First, the pattern of railway freight valued-added services, which is based on the classification of railway freight information, is discussed. Then, the potential consumers of freight information value-added services is discussed. Finally, several valued-added measures which the railway can provided are proposed.

In order to solve the problems in the pallet leasing process, the first requirements of the tracking and tracing system based on the pallet rental process are analyzed. Then, the pallet rental system function model is built. Meanwhile, the EPC coding system of an RFID tag and the network topology of the pallet tracking and tracing system are designed. Finally, different users can track and trace the pallet in real time by acquiring and releasing the EPC information on RFID tags.

It is gradually becoming consensus that the development of IT lead to the explosive growth of data and data-driven economic growth. The development of big data technology provides a feasible way for mining value from unstructured data, which will bring enormous benefits to the enterprise. First, based on the analysis of the application of big data technology in unstructured data management, the demand of the railway freight e-commerce unstructured data management is put forward and analyzed in this paper. Then, a preliminary solution is proposed for railway freight e-commerce unstructured data management application based on the big data technology, which can provide information support for the development of the railway freight e-commerce platform.

The in-depth development of China's informatization strategy is facing a severe test of social and economic transformation. The traffic information construction is facing a similar dilemma. Traffic information resources integration in information construction is a key kernel which urgently needs to respond to institutional, managerial, and technological obstacles caused by:(1) the accrual allocation mechanism imbalance and bull management; (2) an incomplete traffic information resource standards system; (3) "absence" of a "top-down" design concept; (4) inter-departmental coordination loses "horizontal", "vertical" rationality; (5) inefficient modern information technology application, bringing a set of problems that consists of scattered traffic information resources, inter-departmental coordination difficulties, information resources' lack of timeliness, accuracy and integrity, and information resources which are shallowly mined. Based on "four linkages" and "the trinity", the Internet of Things management model is to build a new transportation information resources integration model, taking the top of the perfect standards system, security environment, management system, market mechanism, data mining, and technology application ability into consideration to design a security strategy for the new model.

In recent years, administrators and researchers have paid extensive attention to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and innovation as business competencies. Based on the analysis of relationships among CSR, innovation and value creation, this paper constructs an effective model of them. It then tests the hypotheses through the panel data of the years 2008-2011 from China A share listed companies. The empirical results show that - under the control of corporate type, size and age variables - CSR has positive effects on the current year value creation and the next year value creation. Both effects are incompletely mediated by innovation. The conclusions have a positive influence on the decision-making of shareholders on the practice of CSR investment and innovation.

Determining the matching mode by evaluation of the different logistics modes becomes an important strategic decision for manufacturing enterprises. This paper proposes a selection method of a logistics mode based on group semantic information and entropy model under uncertainty. The suitability and practicability of this method are proved through an example.

China Railway Corporation is gradually advancing freight organization reform, and railway transportation organization will be changed from internal production to market-oriented. It is the inevitable direction of railway freight reform that expands the freight transportation function of marshalling yards and promotes freight stations into a modern logistics center. After describing the current situation of Chinese railway freight organization reform, the advantages of railways becoming logistics centers based on freight station and marshalling yard were analyzed. The basic operation mode of a railway logistics center was constructed, and the relevant strategy proposed. It will include strengthening comprehensive transportation infrastructure construction (such as a marshalling yard and a large-scale freight yard), improving service capacity of cargo storage and handling and constructing a modernized logistics center with value-added service function. The solution of constructing a railway logistics center based on a freight station and marshalling yard can offer decision-making reference for freight transportation reform of the railway administrative department.

The matching comprehensive evaluation for a wharf function area adjustment was studied based on a grey rough set (GRS) and the entropy weight method (EWM). Through system analysis, the matching synthetic evaluation indices for wharf function area adjustment were determined. Grey cluster and rough set theory were used to reduce the indices and the redundant information of the indices had been rejected. EWM was adopted to determine the weights of the reduced evaluation indices. The matching comprehensive evaluation model of a wharf function area adjustment was established. The results of the concrete example in the North Jiang Port area of Tianjin Port showed that the best information utilization can be realized, the subjective composition can be reduced in a maximum extent in the evaluation process, and the decision support can be provided for port planning and construction. The validity of the evaluation method was proved.

With the large-scale, high-speed railway construction and rapid development in recent years, rail transport has been found to be a new and reliable mode of transport. With the pace of reform on freight policies, high-speed rail is no longer confined to passengers and high-speed rail express officially appeared in front of public. Analysis of the social and economic benefits after the carry out of the high-speed rail express and study of the impact of logistics within the region and combined with the actual conduct of the current high-speed rail express will bring some proposals and specific measures for improvement.

In history, Tea-Horse Road was a key linkage between logistics and industry in southwestern China. With the progress of the "Go West" campaign, logistics there have been rapidly developing — is it also interacting with industry or not? Through analysis of the time-series data of those two factors in Tea-Horse Road between Szechwan and Tibet, we find that a co-integration relationship only exists in the logistics and second industry. Moreover, the latter of the two is Granger cause for the former. From 1992 to 2012, there were two important inflection points:1997 and 2008. Surprisingly, there's no direct effect between the physical distribution and the structure of employment. All finds indicate that the factor of logistics development is not endogenous, but extraneous; and the factor of industry change does not depend on employment restructuring, but on natural resources consumption.

End-of-life vehicles (ELVs) are important renewable resources. In order to improve the recovery rate of ELVs, it is necessary to build an ELVs recycling industry chain of high efficiency and benefit. It needs participants of the industry chain to realize the organic integration collaborative development of resources, technology, information and business processes through the relevant contract mechanism. An incentive mechanism is the important mechanism of a contract. As an example, this article builds a relative model which is based on the design of the re-purchase contract between disassembly centers of ELVs and reuse centers. Also, this article analyses and verifies the model through a numerical example.

A pallet pooling system is composed of rentals, public pallet information platforms, pallet service station and tenants. In order to arouse the enthusiasm of so many participants in the system of high service quality and maximize the profit, optimized pallet rental prices must be drawn. This paper aims at analyzing the pricing model in view of the characteristics of a pallet pooling system. As a result, a pricing strategy is reached to provide theoretical support for mutual benefit of the participants and efficient recycling of the pallets.

Strategy analysis is the core problem of an enterprise and is directly related to all of the goals. When logistics enterprises formulate their logistics development strategy, they will cope with their own logistics business analysis and evaluation, and will seek toprovide the most competitive business combination. In this paper, we put forward a method to analyze the logistics business and develop a logistics strategy based on super-efficiency Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and Triangular Fuzzy AHP. An example is givden to prove the validity of the method.

Based on analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of different procurement models, this paper used both the quantitative method and the qualitative method. Firstly, this paper built a scientific evaluating system and adopted the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process to compare different procurement models. Accordingly, theappropriate procurement model was selected. Finally, the method was proved to be effective by a numerical example.

The evaluation and promotion of the integration competitiveness of TPL Enterprises is not only a newly-emerging practical issue but, also a theoretical frontier. On the basis of the theory of system engineering, this paper has put forward the concept of the integration competitiveness of TPL Enterprises. It assumed the evaluation index system, investigated the feasibility of carrying through the fuzzy system evaluation, and up-built the mathematics models for fuzzy systematic evaluation based on the analysis on the meaning and the elements of the synthesis competitiveness of enterprises. Instance appliance proves this evaluation system is feasible and practical.

With the rapid development of the logistics industry, management's idea is to create more benefit for customers through high quality service, thereby attracting more customers and expanding the market. This concept has been increasingly accepted by many enterprises in the transport and logistics fields. The core concept of railways developing modern logistics to realize the transformation of the development mode is the innovation of logistics products. This paper explores the design of railway logistics products from two aspects:(1) connotation of products and the idea of modularization design in order to enrich and innovate products, thereby expanding the coverage of logistics demand levels; and, (2) promote the effective integration of freight transportation of railway and logistics and help the transport logistics enterprises realize the dual goal of enhancing the level of customer service and improving the management benefit.

The "last mile" predicament has become the key point in the rapidly developing courier industry in China. In order to better address this problem, this paper conducts a preliminary analysis before reaching a conclusion. Following that, an innovative solution for the creation of a dynamic delivery system will be proposed. Finally, full answers are given for three questions which are posed regarding:(1) the definition of a dynamic delivery system; (2) how it is run; and (3) what is its functional advantage.

With the rapid development of China's economy, the freight volume of the whole society is growing and thereby contributing to freight transportation. The mass of goods transported by transportation tools also increases the environmental problems. This paper researches the current conditions and tendencies of public transportation in China. By comparing railway's social benefits and comparative advantages with that of other means of transport, this paper builds an evaluation model of freight transport to calculate carbon emissions from various means of transport. The model can be the basis for the government to make relative policies and for enterprises to make logistics planning, thus encouraging the use of low carbon emission transport means.

Analysis on the collaboration percentage (CP) focuses on the harmoniousness of the development. A high CP shows that the two industries cooperate tacitly, which can accelerate the joint development of the two industries. A low CP shows that the two industries cannot respond to each other's requirement in time, which will result in a restricted industry that lags behind other industries. Calculations show that the current CP between the forest fruits industry and the logistics industry is relatively low, so the integration of the two should be strengthened.

With the rapid development of electronic commerce, express security has become one of the biggest problems in this industry. The safety of express directly affects its future development. In order to solve the security problems in the express industry, our government should set up a perfect security system and establish a whole society security operation mode which will enable the Chinese express industry to have stable development and be healthy. The Qualitative Research Method is applied to find problems from microeconomic units and macro-economic policies and measures. At the end of this essay, some proposals for future development are presented from the perspectives of government, society and individuals.

Urban delivery is an important livelihood project influencing people's production and life. Along with the fast development of the economy, society and urbanization in China, urban delivery revealed a lot of problems. How to promote the development of urban delivery has become a significant social problem. On the basis of analyzing the major constraints for urban delivery, this paper puts forward five paths for promoting the development of urban delivery.

Taking Sichuan Province as the research object, this paper builds models and selects indices in two ways: the transportation system promoting the regional economy and the regional economy promoting the transportation system. Then, it tests the mutual promotion through a co-integration analysis method and puts forward suggestions on transportation development in Sichuan Province.

From the angle of ecology, the city group logistics ecosystem is a kind of complex adaptive system which is composed of a plurality of live agents. In the city group logistics ecosystem, the aggregation evolution of logistics live agents and the agent groups is very similar to the evolution of a biological community system. In the city group logistics ecosystem, in order to improve the living environment, all kinds of logistics live agents will gather, compete and coordinate with each other to form more new adaptive agents or groups. According to the organisms' symbiotic theory, the common city group logistics ecosystem live agents' symbiotic aggregation evolution modes can be divided into three types:reciprocal symbiosis, partial symbiosis, and competitive symbiosis.

Southwest Jiaotong University and Xinjin are working together to create the rail transportation equipment production base with the help of the mechanism of university-enterprise cooperation to upgrade the rail transportation industry. Meanwhile, the rail transit hi-tech industrial park of CREC can break the constraints of the core elements of development of rail transportation, thereby speeding up the gathering of relevant industries. The two form "a park & a base" traffic industrial layout, which will construct the core competitiveness of industry. On the other hand, Chengdu is the western integrated transport hub and logistics center with good logistics infrastructure and favorable development conditions. One can send "Chengdu made" rail transit high-tech products to the country - or even the world - through the perfect logistics network, which will also further promote vigorous development of the logistics industry in Chengdu.

The newly constructed line of urban rail transit will come into being as a series of influences on the whole city public transportation network, which includes the urban rail transit network. Based on the analysis of the mechanism of influence produced in a newly constructed urban rail transit line on urban public traffic network, this paper builds a passenger prediction framework and constructs the prediction model. Finally, it combined the passenger volume forecast of Metro line 3 in Chengdu to verify the model. Prediction results show that the model has strong adaptability. It can be used to predict the passenger flow of a new line of urban rail transit.

This paper discusses the domestic and international status of the planning of an electric vehicle charging station. In view of present planning models, it was carried on the classification in accordance with its modeling of the basic idea, and analyzed the typical model of thinking and application scope of planning models. According to the comparison of various planning models, it elaborated on the advantages and disadvantages of various models, from which it was probed into research trends and development prospects of planning of electric vehicle charging stations in the future, namely coordination configuration of three kinds of charging ways in the electric vehicle charging network, simulation on the electric car owners' travel behavior and establishment of time and space dynamic model.

Based on the existing research achievements, the methods of moving object detection in dynamic environment are studied deepl and a knowledge-based flexible edge matching algorithm is put forward. The effectiveness of the proposed matching algorithm in moving object detection is also demonstrated. The research results here can be provided as the reference for target detection and tracking and some other applications. This article designs a foreign invasion monitoring system, according to invasion site. It can issue alarm and Parking. It also can immediately grasp the layout state and fault state of the individual monitoring along high-speed rail. Improve the accuracy and reliability of system, and improve the level of information construction of the railway. Provide statistical data and scheduling basis for dispatch center, and provide maintenance information for the maintenance terminal.

Modern logistics has become the new focus in the development of social economy and the investment of transportation. The rise of Wisdom Logistics has brought new vitality to the development of the logistics industry. According to the needs of the development of railway transportation, this paper analyzes the internal relationship between the Wisdom Logistics and railway transportation. Then, it puts forward the applications of the Wisdom Logistics technology in railway transportation. Wisdom Logistics has the technical functions of intelligence, perception, security and optimization, which can conserve resources, reduce the cost of logistics, improve the efficiency of transportation and enhance the competitiveness, and provide certain technical conditions and operating means for the development of rail transportation.

An urban expressway traffic incident detection system is designed from two modules, an incident detection module and an incident alarm module. In the incident detection module, based on the variation of traffic flow parameters (velocity, volume and occupancy) which upstream and downstream have before and after traffic incidents happened, the model of wavelet analysis-neural network is built using the data that fused upstream and downstream traffic flow parameters. In the incident alarm module, based on the visualization characteristics of LabVIEW, the incident alarming module is designed. The modules are unified with the Script Node, which is the interface between LabVIEW and Matlab. Then, a system is developed and verified under a simple scenario with the stimulation traffic flow data acquired from VISSIM.

In order to study commuters' dynamic travel behavior in the peak travel period, the prospect theory is used to analyze the path choice process of commuters. This paper divides the peak travel period into several parts, using commuters' travelling time as a reference point and establishes the value function. The value of routes' prospect and the LOGIT model are used to compute the route choice probability. Finally, an example combined with the algorithm is adopted to make a comment on the model.

As logistics are regarded as a large-scale sports event running "wheel", logistics resource mutual coordination and the effective operation of a logistics system are the guarantee of the effective event. The integrated use of the synergetics and the grey system modeling method are to construct the large-scale sports event logistics resource synergy evolution model and the coordination degree evaluation model. According to the principle of synergetics of servo, we can determine the sequence of the large-scale sports event logistics resource system parameters, and evaluate the logistics resource system on the synergy effect.

Due to the restrictions of governmental management and technological issues, different means of transport (e.g. rail, road, aviation and shipping) are always developed separately. The result is that for each kind of freight terminal there exists a unique standardization system. Such a situation has greatly hindered the efficient flow of goods in the entire transport chain. To solve the standardization issues of newly emerged "intermodal freight terminals (IFTs)", the paper first clarifies the concept of IFTs. The article then analyzes the standardization activities of IFTs in developed countries. Finally, the standardization needs of IFTs in China are identified and the specific standardization work is proposed.

At present, the road transportation in our country is placed in weak, anti-risk and disordered competitive stage. The number of freight operators is huge, but the scale is small; so, the intensive road transportation becomes one of the developing directions. In this paper, through the investigation and study on the development of road freight transport intensification in China, the paper summarizes three typical freight intensive modes - Assets Alliance, Framework Agreement Alliance and Platform Alliance) and analyzes the key points and applicability of each model. The selection system of road freight transport intensification mode found that by using the analytic hierarchy process, the feasibility of the method through empirical analysis could be verified.

This paper presents the fundamental principles of traffic flow modeling and proposes the computer simulation implementation methods consisting of three modules: vehicle generation, speed discrete distribution and vehicle motion. A microscopic simulation approach of freeway traffic flow based on cellular automata and the relevant technical process are established and then tested in the typical sections of the Xihai Freeway in the Jiangxi Province of China. According to the results, the proposed traffic flow simulation technique can precisely represent the complicated dynamic performances of a freeway system. This technique provides a new, efficient approach to the microscopic simulation of freeway traffic flow.

Several kinds of commonly used map matching algorithms were introduced and their shortcomings were analyzed. According to the traditional topology structure algorithm, the improved topology structure algorithm was proposed. Then, some experiments were carried out in Chengdu. The experiment results show that even if the road is covered by an overpass, the algorithm can effectively reduce the error of GPS.

This study mainly discusses the mechanical behavior of a cobble rock mass during tunneling in Chengdu Metro Line 1.A cCobble rock mass could be regarded as ail assembly of discrete particles, with the micro parameters of the rock mass having a significant impact on its macro mechanical behavior. Due to the characteristics of such rock masses, the conventional study method in continuous mediums is no longer available; thus, in the study of the granular discrete element method [basically particle flow code (PFC)] is applied. The results show that when supporting force is relatively low at the tunnel face and is unable to maintain the stability of the face, then large displacement happens in the frontage of the heading, and the stress of the rock mass is loosened. With time lapse, displacement becomes larger and the loosened area of the rock mass extends; then, the tunnel face collapses. With the help of the Chengdu Metro Line 1 project, it proves that PFC is applicable in analyzing the mechanical behavior in a cobble rock mass during tunneling.

The shipping market of special engineering vessels is becoming prosperous because oftheChinese government's focus on the marine economy and the developing marine equipment manufacturing industry, coastal industry and overseas project contracting. A new-style logistics hub should be constructed for the numerous special engineering vessels in the south China area, in which they could get material supplies, cargo information and technical support. The logistics hub should contain five business modules, including:(1) engineering material supply; (2) fuel and living material supply (3) auxiliary machinery dispatching center (4) transfer of logistics information; and (5) professional technical support. Then, the port could upgrade the service chain and realize its diversification.

Modern logistics, as an important part of China's modern service industry, has had an overall positive effect on improving the operation of the national economy, optimizing the economic process, adjusting the economic structure, expanding domestic demands, and improving social welfare. It has gradually become considered as another important profit source following measures of reducing consumption of materials and improving productivity. It is easy to measure and calculate freight turnover. However, the relationship between freight turnover and logistics quantity makes it pretty necessary to predict the freight turnover.

In view of the situation of urban distribution, the dynamic vehicle routing problem - in which the information keeps changing during the distribution process - is studied. Various kinds of real-time factors are analyzed. By introducing virtual customers, the paper converts the dynamic vehicle routing problem into the classic single-type static vehicle routing problem and proposes a model based on natural description. A two-stage solving strategy is put forward, and a hybrid genetic algorithm is constructed. Numerical experiment results show that the model and algorithm can effectively reduce the distribution cost.

Alternation between the new high-speed railway train working diagram and the current one is becoming more frequent. In order to ensure the smooth alternation, train-set scheduling in alternating periods must be planned to determine the source of the train-set running the new train plan and the destination of the train-set running the current train plan. The scheduling method is studied and the object of passenger carriage scheduling in alternating periods is determined so as to reduce the connection cost between the current sub-routing and the new one. According to the quantity of the current sub-routings and the new ones, models of train-set scheduling in alternating periods are established. The Hungarian algorithm is used to solve the problem. Finally, the feasibility and practicality of the model and algorithm are demonstrated by operational data of the Wuhan-Guangzhou high-speed railway.

A strategic shift from transportation services to logistics services is one way to achieve leapfrog development of the railway. Providing comprehensive logistics information services has become the core element of competition of vital freight operations. Information on cargo tracking customer enquiries is greatly needed. Existing cargo tracking systems are mostly based on a global positioning system and a globe tracking system, which are combined with a radio electronic label achieved. Some of our large-scale logistics enterprises have achieved the use of GPS for position tracking. However, most of our small- and medium-sized logistics enterprises cannot use GPS due to lack of funds. To improve the competition of enterprises and provide better customer service, they use RF for tracking goods. At the present stage, China railway only realizes the large nodes track of freight vehicles. In the real sense, there is quite some distance to goto realize the querying and tracking of cargo. Based on the in-depth study of the process of railway freight transportation, we can discuss feasible schemes for the inquiries of freight tracking.

Railway transportation undertakes the major domestic passenger transport task, and the method of ticket sales greatly determines the quality of the ticket sale service. The IC card is widely used in urban public transport, so many cities have started to use the public transport IC card in our country and have formed a certain scale. Thus, the concept of railway passenger transportation must change by making it easy to buy tickets. The long-term grasp should be to meet people's needs and continuously expand the passenger market share. This paper relates:(1) the relevant principle of the multi-purpose card service mechanism of Southwest Jiaotong University; (2) the principles of metro fare types; (3) the mechanism of the public transportation card, and (4) the successful application of the "Guangshen Railway Peony Financial IC Card" to put forward railway IC card votes. According to the above, the feasibility of issuing IC card votes in intercity trains is put forward.

Rail-water intermodal transportation can optimize the layout of the transportation corridor, reduce the transportation links, shorten the transportation periods, enhance the efficiencies, reduce the fares and adapt to the development of our country. Pricing the rail-water intermodal transportation reasonably is an important measure to attract the freight sources and expand the market. On the basis of analyzing the internal and external situation of the freight rates of rail-water intermodal transportation, and according to the 3C pricing model, this paper puts forward the pricing model of the rail-water intermodal transportation along with reasonable suggestions.

With the wide spread of pallets in containerized transport, and due to low efficiency, high cost, high resource consumption and other shortcomings, the disposable pallets cannot adapt to the future development of containerized transport. A pallet pool can realize the recycling of pallets and improve handing and transport efficiency while reducing the cost and consumption of resources. However, the cargo volume varies in different areas, and certain goods are seasonal transport, making the pallets in the pallet pool mode unbalanced. This paper mainly focuses on railway and highway transport to analyze the dispatching of empty pallets. Based on the carbon emissions, transport time and priority of dispatching, this paper establishes the objective model of minimum cost in order to make the decision on empty pallet dispatching routes and modes of transport. In this paper, the ILOG Cplex software is used to solve the mode land andverify the feasibility and superiority of the model through a case.

China's railway freight innovation has put forward a developing direction for "the whole logistics", which gains new requests and challenges for the railway logistics enterprise. The railway logistics enterprise will burden more assignment of the whole logistics. This paper analyzed the costs of inventory and transport. It established the overall optimal Inventory-Transport model which is dominated by the railway transport and combined multimodal transport. Then, a simulated annealing algorithm is proposed to solve the model. Finally, several suggestions based on the model for the development of the railway logistics enterprise are given.

The study of railway freight systems and total logistics is important to the reform and development of railway. By the SWOT enterprise strategic analysis method, the strength, weakness, opportunity and threat of railway door-to-door total logistics service are analyzed. In addition, with the introduction of the system engineering theory, this paper uses the Business Process Reengineering method and brings forward pertinent suggestions for the door-to-door total logistics service of railway freight transport.
