Publication: ICLEM 2014: System Planning, Supply Chain Management, and Safety

Abstract

Austrian biologist Ludwig von Bertalanffy initiated organicism on the general systems theory in the 1920s. Today, its widespread use in scientific, political, military, diplomatic, cultural and educational areas of systems science, which have a long but rapid development course, result in a profound impact on science. In chronological order, combined with the characteristics of domestic and international development, this paper presents the development of systems science and summarizes its prospective future direction. Finally, combined with the Hefei planning issues, this paper puts forward views about how to use the systems science to solve passenger transportation terminals planning issues.
