An Overview of Railway Revenue Management in China

Abstract
Revenue management is widely used for maximizing a company's revenue, especially for those instant products. This article reviews the railway revenue management both inside and outside China. The paper focuses on railway passenger and freight revenue management and puts forward some shortcomings of the current research. Finally, it makes the long-range outlook for railway revenue management.
