ABSTRACT

This paper aims to establish a scientific decision-making model based on testing the relationship between regional economic conditions, policy environment, and market demand, so as to improve the scientificity and accuracy of the construction site selection for distributed data center (DDC) operators. This paper establishes a decision-making model based on utility theory, and verifies the influence of economic and policy environment on market demand through multiple regression analysis. It is found that regional economic conditions and policy environment have a significant impact on the market demand for DDC cabinets, and different economic/policy factors have different impacts on market demand. This paper studies the benefits of building a new type of infrastructure from the perspectives of market and management, provides reference for enterprise decision-making, and broadens the research ideas of DDC.
