Evaluating the Performance of Electric Power Enterprises from the Perspective of Industrial Upgrading and Transformation

ABSTRACT

Against the background of the 14th Five-Year Plan and the goal of “carbon peaking and carbon neutrality,” electric power enterprises should seek a clean and efficient development mode, carry out industrial upgrading and transformation, and adapt to the new development environment as soon as possible. In the traditional enterprise performance evaluation system, electric power enterprises mainly focus on the indicators of economic benefits, ignoring the requirements for energy conservation and emissions reduction, social responsibility and the development needs of scientific and technological innovation as the core driving force in the new era. Therefore, on the basis of the traditional power enterprise performance evaluation index system, this paper adds the indicators of environmental benefit ability, social benefit ability, and scientific and technological innovation ability. The authors use the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to construct a new evaluation index system model, uses the analytic hierarchy process to determine the index weights, and puts forward suggestions for the development of electric power enterprises according to the results.
