Research on the Influence of Ecological Sports Park on the Physical Health of the Elderly Based on Social Ecological Model

ABSTRACT

At present, facing the objective reality of the gradual aging of Chinese society, how to better meet the growing sports demand of the elderly has become a problem urgently to be solved. A sample survey was conducted on 296 elderly people who were randomly selected for physical exercise in 5 ecological sports parks in Guiyang, Guizhou Province. The experimental study of elderly people participating in physical exercise in ecological sports parks was designed under the social ecological theory model, and the conclusions were drawn: After 3 months of physical exercise in ecological sports park, the physical shape, physical function and physical quality indexes of the elderly were improved, which had statistical significance; The elderly ecological sports parks have strong demands in self-efficacy, interpersonal communication, community sports services and government infrastructure investment; Ecological sports park opens up the green space for the elderly to participate in sports, can effectively promote the enthusiasm of the elderly to participate in physical exercise, and can be used as a new means of health intervention and promotion of the elderly.
