ABSTRACT

WebGIS technology is an effective tool for online learning and teaching of traffic prediction. The research uses Javascript to expand it and realizes the program design of the stochastic user equilibrium model (SUE) and the system optimal model (SO) for traffic allocation scenarios. The SUE program was written using the successive averages method (MSA) and implemented with the probit model for stochastic loading; meanwhile, the SO was solved using the improved Frank-Wolfe (F-W) algorithm. Finally, the two models are verified based on the Nguyen-Dupuis classic road network. The results show that the SUE program running results match the true value of the case; the assignment results of the SO program and TransCAD have passed the one-way ANOVA test between groups. Through the root mean square error analysis, the default value of the maximum number of the program iterations is adjusted, which enriches the functions of the online traffic prediction platform.
