Coastal Engineering 1986

Abstract

  • This book contains 206 papers presented at the 20th International Conference on Coastal Engineering. The book is divided into five parts: theoretical and observed wave characteristics; coastal processes and sediment transport; coastal structures and related problems; coastal, estuarine and environmental problems; and ship motions. Reports include the effects of wind, storms, and currents. Erosion, sedimentation and beach nourishment are covered. The papers approach these topics with theoretical studies, case reports, models, and field studies.
