Ports '01: America's Ports: Gateway to the Global Economy

Abstract

  • Proceedings of Ports 2001 conference, held in Norfolk, Virginia, April 29-May 2, 2001. Sponsored by Ports and Harbors Committee of the Coasts, Oceans, Ports and Rivers Institute of ASCE; U.S. Section of the Permanent International Association of Navigation Congresses. Cohosted by Virginia Port Authority, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Norfolk, Virginia. This collection contains 129 papers discussing a broad range of national and international issues related to port engineering, waterfront facilities planning, and navigation improvements.
