Study on the Optimization Strategy of Shanxi Hougou Ancient Village from the Perspective of Post-Productionism

ABSTRACT

With the deepening of the strategy of “Rural Revitalization” and the rise of the national economy, residents increasingly pay attention to the pursuit of quality of life, and the countryside begins to transition from “productionism” to “post-productionism.” This paper tries to use post-productionism theory to guide rural optimization. Firstly, the difference of rural function and space composition between productionism and post-productionism is analyzed, and the trend of rural development from single-core agricultural function to multifunctional integration is expounded. Secondly, based on the above theoretical basis, it analyzes the related problems of the ancient village in Hougou and the main problems in the space, and demonstrates the feasibility of the post-productionism theory. Finally, it provides the optimization direction for the ancient village of Hougou in Shanxi Province, and puts forward the rural optimization strategy according to the theory of post-production.
