Publication: ICCREM 2023
ABSTRACT
In recent years, China has made remarkable progress in the construction of smart cities. Great progress has been made in expanding urban space, reducing operation costs, and strengthening urban management. However, the transformation and upgrading of urban construction and high-quality development need to highlight the core concept of “people-oriented,” in order to achieve sustainable development of urban construction. There are still many problems in the existing smart cities to meet the needs of people, which deserve our careful summary and analysis. Firstly, this paper combs the development and current situation of smart city construction in China, on this basis, analyzes the existing problems and reasons in the “people-oriented” aspect of smart city construction, and puts forward some relevant suggestions for the future construction of a new type of smart city.
