ABSTRACT
On the basis of the Xi’an urban rail network built by the Space-L method, this paper selects the relative value of network efficiency as the network vulnerability evaluation indicator and designs a simulation system for random attacks to identify key stations and sections. In order to improve the invulnerability of rail networks under the limitation of construction cost, this paper establishes a regional network invulnerability optimization model, evaluated by algebraic connectivity based on the complex network theory. A heuristic algorithm, particle swarm optimization (PSO), is applied to solve the model, where the solving efficiency is improved. An optimal invulnerable scheme for Xi’an urban rail transit network is found to provide a theoretical and scientific basis for the management of Xi’an Metro system.
