Analysis of Urban Night Travel Characteristics and Influencing Factors Based on Taxi GPS Data

ABSTRACT
With the development of nighttime economy, residents’ demand for nighttime travel is increasing. In order to explore the influence factors that affect residents’ travel demand at night and to analyze its mechanism and the influence of spatial spillover effect, this article on the basis of Xi’an taxi GPS data, using the POI data representation of urban built environment characteristics, using spatial Doberman model to explore the influence factors of nocturnal and spatial spillover effects. The results show that different land use properties have different impacts on night travel demand, and this impact has significant spatial heterogeneity.
