ABSTRACT
This paper aims to investigate the meso-microscopic characteristics of the traffic flow under different combinations of the following relationship, by changing the mixing rate of large vehicles and the density of the traffic flow. Through the NGSIM (Next Generation Simulation) data set, the asymptotic stability of heterogeneous traffic flow is analyzed using transfer function theory. Using cellular automata simulation and adding the improved STCA lane changing model, the changes of traffic flow efficiency parameters of single-lane and double-lane are analyzed. The results show that the density-flow and density-velocity changes of single-lane and two-lane traffic flow are consistent with the change trends of the basic map. The variance of mixed traffic flow velocity increases first and then decreases with density, as does the lane change rate.
