Research on Green Design of Exhibition Spaces in Campus Museums

ABSTRACT

As the number of campus museums grows and the scale of construction expands, as well as the concept of ecological civilization gradually deepens, the construction of university museums faces new challenges of transformation, in which the design of display space is also constantly changing and updating. In order to meet the development needs of a green and low-carbon society, based on the concept of sustainable development, through the analysis of excellent cases, the current situation of “being ecologically designed” in the design of display space, from the four aspects of space organization, props and materials selection, lighting layout, and dematerialization design, to explore the green campus museum display space. In this study, we explore how to implement the green campus museum exhibition space and propose ecological design strategies for future university museum exhibition spaces, so as to ultimately achieve the goal of energy-saving, environmental protection, health, and efficiency of university museum exhibition space environment.
