ABSTRACT
With the development of an urban rail transit network, the influence of transfer nodes on the efficiency of the whole network is increasingly important. This paper analyzes the factors influencing the transfer service of transfer stations from both subjective and objective perspectives, and constructs a multi-level evaluation index system for the evaluation of the transfer service of urban rail transit. The effective and optimized method based on entropy-TOPSIS was used to evaluate the transfer service. In the case study, this paper applies the method to assess the transfer service of three transfer stations along Xi’an subway line 2. After evaluation and comparison, XIAOZHAI station has the lowest transfer service quality and feasible suggestions are put forward for improvements of the transfer service, which can provide the support for management and policymaking.
