ABSTRACT
Urban sprawl and inefficient traffic are increasingly severe, forcing Beijing has to pay more attention to the integrated model of land use and transportation development. Transit-oriented development (TOD) provides a possibility for combining land use and transportation development. Based on the current research, this paper establishes an evaluation index system in the five dimensionalities of land use, travel, economy, environment, and social perception. Secondly, considering the characteristics of accessibility and land mix, we divided the sites into four types and chose four sites for discussion. The fuzzy comprehensive method is used to comprehensively evaluate the sites and analyze the TOD development level. The results show that the TOD development results of the four research sites are at a medium level. This paper can offer a proper guide to improve development conditions in the metro station area based on TOD.
