The Location-Routing Problem: A Review

ABSTRACT
The location-routing problem (LRP) plays a critical role in the logistics system optimization. This paper first summarizes the development process of LRP model, and then the research status of it. The applicability of LRP model solution algorithm of supply chain management is given. This study puts forward the main research direction of LRP and the research results of LRP algorithm. The solution algorithm of LRP has gradually changed from the early precise algorithm to the heuristic algorithm and hybrid algorithm. The algorithm has gradually produced the test example of extended LRP. According to the change of market environment and demand, the research direction of LRP in the future is proposed.
