ABSTRACT
Based on the new situation of multi-layer, multi-mode, and multi-system development and according to the classification standard of urban rail transit, eight metropolitan areas with more than three kinds of systems are proposed. The operational efficiency index system of the multi-mode rail transit system is constructed from the angle of input and output, and improvement is made to the traditional DEA model to distinguish the effective difference of decision-making unit. The efficiency of the multi-mode rail transit system is evaluated by the improved. Results show that this method has high practicability and validity in solving the problem of operation efficiency of the multi-system rail transit system in metropolitan area. The result can objectively and effectively reflect the level of operation level and the deficiency of the system development, which can provide scientific and reasonable decision-making method for the choice of the urban rail transit system and multi-system coordinated development.
