Abstract
As there is a high demand for sunset-departure and sunrise-arrival trains in high-speed railway, to coordinate the maintenance and the train operation at night, three types of comprehensive maintenance gaps in the daytime are proposed. They are 3h-gap in the daytime, gap at night and 2h-gap in the daytime, and 1.5h-gap in the daytime and 2h-gap at night. Meanwhile, their applicability is analyzed respectively. The method to calculate the reduction of carrying capacity due to maintenance and to coordinate the maintenance and train operation was put forward. The reduced value and deducted ratio of carrying capacity in different maintenance alternatives and parameters condition are calculated. The analysis on coordinating the maintenance and long-route train operation in the daytime is illustrated by high-speed railway from Beijing to Guangzhou. According to the analysis in this paper, it is suggested to adopt the 3h-gap in the daytime.
