Abstract
Traffic law enforcement officers incur significant risks in conducting their day-to-day job responsibilities. These risks stem from the general work environment, such as from weather conditions, traffic volume, and potential criminal activity. But another environmental risk factor, the microenvironment, merits consideration. This article analyzes and evaluates micro environmental factors for traffic law enforcement officers using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP).
