Prospect Probing in Piston Wind Application to Power Generation in Rail Tunnel

Abstract
The piston wind and the piston effect will be produced when the subway enter or leave the subway station, which is close to the ventilation of railway tunnel and energy consumption of the subway. With the wide application of underground rail transit, how to save energy and money as possible, with the comfort of the stand halls and the platform layers, is a question that the construction and management apartment have to consider. Therefore, the rational utilization of piston wind has important theoretical and practical significance to achieve saving energy consumption in railway transportation. In this paper, from the point of saving energy and reducing operating costs and low carbon, a new pattern of piston wind use is proposed - power generation of piston wind. Technically, we make full use of the conditions of present and analyze the feasibility of a piston wind power generation economically, compared with the thermal power generation, the piston wind power generation has advantages of economical efficiency. Meanwhile the recycling and reusing of piston wind also reflects that environment-protecting trend, which means walking on the low carbon road. What's more, the piston wind power generation will bring great social benefits.
