Abstract
A combined traffic organization mode by which trains either run on a dedicated line, or on dedicated line partially and common line partially is adopted for the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway. This paper conducts a thorough analysis by not only graphic method but also analytical and computational method. It studies the setting of comprehensive maintenance sky-window on Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway about its open time, duration, and form, as well as the plan of "sunset departure-sunrise arrival" train. The research comes to the conclusion: Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway should open continuous 3h partitioned vertical and rectangular comprehensive maintenance sky-window in 0:00–6:00; when it is opened to traffic in 2012, there may be "sunset departure - sunrise arrival" trains among the provincial capitals as "Wuxi-Nanning, Suzhou-Guiyang, Harbin-Shanghai, Harbin-Hangzhou, Harbin-Jinan, Jinan-Guangzhou, ect.".
