Abstract
Based on turbulent quasi-dimensional model, a parameter studies was carried out for the combustion process in a spark ignition engine under Oxygen-enriched Air by the aid of VB. The investigative parameters included the oxygen concentration and the location of spark plug. The simulative parameters included cylinder pressure and the mass changed in combusted area, temperature and NO emission. The results indicate that the peak pressure and temperature will increase and NO will increase when the concentration of O2 (oxygen) in the intake gas is increased; peak pressure and temperature will increase and NO will decrease when decreasing the eccentricity of spark plug.
