In order to meet market demand and the demand of railway development, railway transportation enterprise makes a great variety of passenger train operation plans in different periods. Reasonably planning passenger vehicle scheduling for the ever-changing train operation plan is an important guarantee to achieve the aim that railway operation is safety, efficiency and the continuance. Research background is introduced, changes between the old passenger train operation plan and the new are analyzed. Combined with work experience, plan method of passenger vehicle scheduling in the condition of using vehicle operating certain trains is proposed, more, in order to further optimize vehicle scheduling, mathematical model and optimization algorithm are established for vehicle scheduling in the condition of vehicle operating uncertain passenger trains.
