Abstract
Introduces the principle, model and realization process of ant colony algorithm and gives an analysis of the reasons of the premature stagnation phenomenon occur in ant system easily. Then presents an improved version of the algorithm by modifying the pheromones of the best route and the worst route for searching with a local optimization strategy and an improved version of the algorithm and the complexity of the algorithm. Finally, the mathematic model of placing-in and taking-out wagon operation is established and corresponding ant colony optimization is designed, and the improved algorithm is applied to the mathematic model of placing-in and taking-out wagon operation, the results show that the improved ant colony algorithm can not only get the best results, but also speed up the convergence rate of the ant colony algorithm. The algorithm is practical and valuable for perfecting every technological process in railway stations.
