Abstract
A clear and precise model can provide us a comprehensive as well as profound understanding of rollover of vehicle. By comparing the traditional dynamic analysis model and roller model, the limitation of the latter is studied in detail. A more precise roller model based on momentum conservation law with several indispensable geometric and vehicle factors is considered. Parameters in time history are input into the model to study the rollover phenomenon in vehicle motion, providing a strong foundation for further rollover accident reconstruction and analysis.
