Abstract
At present, the researches on the relationship between traffic flow rate and driver's dynamic visual characteristics are still at the qualitative analysis stage. In this paper, we studied the correlation degree between traffic flow rate and eye movement parameters, and employed three eye movement parameters to correct link capacity. Firstly, we obtained driver's eye movement characteristic factors from experiment in the real road environment. Then, we employed Grey Relation Entropy Analysis to select the eye movement parameters that have a high correlation degree with traffic flow rate, the eye movement parameters included: gaze fixation distribution, perspective region's distribution, and mean fixation duration. At last, we employed the three parameters to correct link capacity, and proposed a calculation method for the driver's dynamic visual characteristics correction factor.
