Impact Analysis of Factors for Taxi Pricing System

Abstract
This paper provides a useful guidance for adjusting the pricing of taxi industry. Pricing regulation would affect taxi drivers' income and consequently the structure of public transportation system and its carrying rate, yet the effect of each factor of pricing is different. This paper made an impact analysis of each factor of pricing by ascertaining the proportion of each factor in the pricing constitution. It is based on the collection and systematical analysis of data from all operating taxi meters in Shenzhen; however, its model and conclusion are also useful for other cities.
