A Study on Logistics Service Project Evaluation Based on Rough Set
Publication: International Conference on Transportation Engineering 2007
Abstract
Logistics service project evaluation is very important for modern management. Because project has the characteristic of which real-time information can not collect easy, the challenge has been brought forward at practice. It is possible for project evaluation to make the advantages of theory of rough set on data mining. In general, project evaluation is to compare the schedule with some criterion, in order to find difference. So the decision will be made according to this in project management. The criterion is all aspects of project situation, such as time, cost, quality, scope and so on. Criterion of logistics service project differs from another in many ways. During the course of project, project evaluation can be divided into three phases, the beginning evaluation, the schedule evaluation, and the result evaluation. By this method, the part and discrete information will be integrated into the whole decision procedure dynamically in different project phases. This paper analyses every aspect of logistics project operation from the view of the third part logistics, and to set down decision table based on theory of rough set. Moreover the rule of decision-making is to be deduced by reduction. The condition attribute set of decision table will be simple and science to evaluate logistics project. Finally this paper uses operation data of one logistics enterprise to approve its feasibility.
