Abstract
In the environment of economic globalization and e-commerce, information technology in the new multimodal transport is a business process under the guidance of the complicated logistics and the flow of information and capital flow interwoven dynamic random process, the broad application of modern information technology and the improvement of the level of information technology is the key to the development of multimodal transport system. Based on analyzing the traditional business processes of multimodal transport, we used the colored time hierarchical expansion Petri net to design and modeling the multimodal transport process, validated the model was active, bounded and reachable, and made the simulation put forward the optimized business processes. Research found that the application of information technology shortened the operation time and greatly enhanced the efficiency.
