Abstract
The parameter estimations of time value and travel utility are two key points in Modal demand forecast theory. In this paper the techniques how to obtain sample statistics of time value and utility are developed, based on time value model, with the help of SP (stated preference) survey. Then the population parameters such as mean and variation of these two random variables are estimated.
