Nonlinear Analysis of Joint in Roadbed Based on Infinite Element Theory
Publication: International Conference on Transportation Engineering 2007
Abstract
Based on the mapping infinite element principle, a coupling model of finite element and mapping infinite element is presented to solve materially nonlinear problem of joint in the roadbed. By organizing the huge nonlinear program, the application of mapping infinite element is extended to the nonlinear field in joint research. The research shows: in comparison with the common finite element, the finite-mapping infinite element coupling system can effectively reduce the computer's scale, improve the computational accuracy and efficiency. Meanwhile the model is proved to be very economical.
