Abstract
This study presents an ordered probit model for the identification of the critical factors to bus travel time delay severity. Based on the automatic vehicle location (AVL) and automatic passenger counter (APC) data as well as weather conditions, a number of factors, such as section classification, cumulative bus dwell time, cumulative bus leg time, cumulative number of stops and classification of day of the week, are identified as being significant to the delay severity.
