Abstract
The synergetic development of urban traffic system is the basic factor for its sustainable development. The comprehensive evaluation for the synergetic development is the premise of its realization. The data envelopment analysis model is introduced to evaluate the synergetic development of urban traffic system based on the input-output matrix and the indicator of sustainable development and to provide an approach of evaluating the validity degree of "synergia" and "development" within the urban traffic system and among subsystems. And then, the conditions of latest 6 years(2000∼2005) of Chengdu is taken for example to conduct systemic analysis and corresponding suggestions are put forward.
