Data Communication for Comprehensive Regional Transport Hub
Publication: International Conference on Transportation Engineering 2007
Abstract
This paper presents an exploratory research on the coordination of the fragmented transport hub and transportation systems, which is a comprehensive problem to achieve the maximum efficiency with the limited resources. Based on the result, the paper designs a Web-based regional transport hub collaborative system (RTHCS) with the Advanced Web Service model of distributed network resource sharing technology. This system manages data by a common data interface: standard XML data situation transmission of data model. This standard through data communications in the data conversion process avoids a large number of data redundancies. A comprehensive consideration on the regional resources of hub can make the regional hubs to collaborate effectively. The paper introduces the concept of intelligent and integrated transport hub model with key interactive technologies.
