Abstract
All kinds of cards are indispensable tools for modern life, but they are inconvenient to carry. The objective of the research is design a Transit Smart Card System Based on Mobile Phone (TSCS), which allows us to buy the bus ticket by mobile phone. Passengers send messages to the special service phone number by mobile phone before taking the bus, and he will receive in order two pieces of messages with information about ticket which merge into one e-ticket later. When getting on the bus, e-ticket should be verified by the electronic checking apparatus for assurance. Encryption and anti-counterfeiting function would be realized through Visual Secret Sharing (VSS) and Digital Time Stamp (DTS) to ensure the safety. At the same time, in case of scant of money to buy ticket, the system and the customer's bank account would be linked. This system has a vast prospect.
