The Risk Assessment Method of Building Based on Interval Mathematics
Publication: International Conference on Transportation Engineering 2007
Abstract
Recently, for solving the environment & traffic problem during developing the city, the exploitation of underground space is growing rapidly in our country. The problem of the influence for adjacent building is more and more, which affects people life and city function. So urgently need to assess the influence for building by construction. Currently the risk assessment of the influence of adjacent building by metro construction lacks greatly. At first, people adopt settler theory, and then apply probability and reliability theory. But probability theory requests much more data and relies on precise data collection, apparently, it is not practical. Also, the limitation of reliability theory rests with that it is difficult to prove the statistical character of Stratum parameter. The author uses interval mathematics in the paper, chooses the typical building site builds calculation model of building deformation, deals with the uncertainty of stratum parameter, solves interval patulous form of the risk assessment function caused by building deformation and the over-wide interval problem, gives a reasonable safety risk to building. It could provide theoretic and practical reference to constructing metro.
