A Method of Exchange Wagon-Flow Allocating in Bidirectional Marshalling Yards
Publication: International Conference on Transportation Engineering 2007
Abstract
Wagon-flow allocating is the foundation of intelligent dispatching system optimization in marshalling yards. The research in this field is active at present, but a lot of experts and scholars focus on the single system, less likely to consider the coordination and optimization problem of wagon-flow allocating in bidirectional marshalling yards. In this paper, the forming influence which different changing yard modes to the wagon-flow sources of two systems has been analyzed, and then the differentiating condition and quantitative calculating method of accepting yard of multi-direction train have been proposed. The objective function based on total price minimum is constructed to allocate wagon flow to two systems respectively according to continue time constraint and classification direction constraint. The example shows that accepting train according to the differentiating condition can match and use angular wagon-flows best rationally, the wagon-flow allocating result of two systems is accurate and rational.
