Abstract
There is big difference in trip characteristics between urban and rural residents. Taking Sichuan Province as an example, this paper probes into the rural residents' trip satisfaction degree. The rural residents' trip satisfaction degree was investigated and analyzed by using method of random sampling by gradation and a concept of minimum trip satisfaction distance was put forward. By combining analytical hierarchy process with fuzzy evaluation method, we can evaluate the rural residents' trip satisfaction degree. The study shows that the traffic node point of rural resident's trip can be determined according to the minimum demanded trip satisfaction distance. The rural residents' trip satisfaction degree provides not only with an important basis for distribution of the rural roads, but also has reference value for measuring the service function and level of the rural roads.
