Mixed Multi-Speed Vehicles on Two-Lane Cellular Automaton Model under Public Transit Influence with Open Boundary Condition

Publication: International Conference on Transportation Engineering 2007

Abstract

Cellular automaton (CA) model is a effctive method to study dynamic traffic flow in which time and space are discrete. Analyse the existing classical cellular automaton model of traffic flow. Mixed with the situation of urban traffic in our country, demarcate the parametes such as length of the cellar automaton and the max speed etc, set up the vehicle's generating function and vehicle changing lane regulation, do explicit analyse about the influential factor and find some new conclusion.
