We are pleased to announce the Best Paper Awards for the Journal of Composites for Construction for the papers published in 2004 (Volume 8).
Awards are given for papers in the basic research category and the applied research category. In each category, two awards are given—one Best Paper and one Honorable Mention paper. Not all awards are given out every year. The committee for the 2004 Awards was comprised of Prof. Sami Rizkalla of the University of North Carolina (Chair), Prof. Kenneth W. Neale of the University of Sherbrooke, Prof. Len Hollaway of the University of Surrey, Prof. Jin Guang Teng of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Prof. Tamon Ueda of Hokkaido University. We express our sincere thanks to the committee for their service to the Journal of Composites for Construction. Congratulations go out to the award winners. Award recipients receive a certificate of recognition from ASCE.
