Proceedings of Construction Research Congress 2012: Construction Challenges in a Flat World, held in West Lafayette, Indiana, May 21-23, 2012. Sponsored by the Construction Institute of ASCE. Hosted by the Division of Construction Engineering and Management of Purdue University.
This collection contains 253 peer-reviewed papers spanning 14 research areas in construction engineering and management, examining the ways that economics, politics, and the environment are challenging the construction industry. Papers address and analyze research findings, technological advances, emerging trends, and functional characteristics that are shaping the future of the architecture/engineering/construction industry.
