Exploring Factors Influencing Teaching Effect of Ideological and Political Content in College Courses: A Survey of Engineering Management Major

ABSTRACT

The ideological and political of course is a new mode of college students’ ideological and political education. Therefore, it is important to explore the influencing factors of the teaching effect of curriculum ideological and political content. In this paper, undergraduates of engineering management major are taken as the survey object, and an evaluation system is constructed to analyze the influencing factors of ideological and political content teaching effect. The results show that: (1) Gender has a certain influence on the teaching effect of ideological and political content in the curriculum, the teaching effect of female students is slightly better than that of male students; (2) grade has an impact on the teaching effect of ideological and political content, the higher the grade, the better the teaching effect of ideological and political content; (3) the teaching effect of ideological and political content is better than that of ideological and political course; (4) the ideological and political teaching effect of practical courses is better than that of theoretical courses. The research results provide the reference for teaching effect assessment mechanism. The specialized course teacher should enhance their ability of ideological education.
