Research on Impact and Promotion Strategy of Trams Line to Surrounding Blocks: A Case Study of Sanya Trams

ABSTRACT

Trams in small and medium-sized cities have been built and planning projects are increasing, the development of surrounding blocks complement each other. Based on the field investigation and taking the area along the Sanya Tramway as an example, this paper analyzes the influence of the service scope of the tramway on the development of the blocks along the line, and establishes the line network model of the coupling between the tramway and the living circle of the residential area, the strategy of forming the public transport corridor with the tramway as the core is put forward to realize the prosperity of the tramway and the surrounding blocks in Sanya, and to improve the level of the urban traffic infrastructure, to provide an effective way to promote the development of local economy.
