Constructing a Model for Selecting the Location of Shared Car Rental Outlets: An Example from Jiangbei District, Ningbo City

With the rapid development of sharing economy, shared cars have been widely concerned with the advanced concept of resource sharing, which effectively reduces environmental pollution and resource waste. However, the unreasonable location of car sharing networks have seriously restricted the healthy development of car sharing. This paper forecasts the demand for shared cars in Jiangbei District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. Through the division of demand points by land use attributes, a multi-objective location model is built with the goal of minimizing the construction cost of lease outlets, minimizing the walking cost, and maximizing the coverage of lease outlets. NSGA-Ⅱ algorithm is used to solve the problem, and multiple groups of feasible solutions are obtained. The research shows that the location results obtained in this paper are of positive significance to the layout of Ningbo shared car rental outlets and can provide effective decision-making suggestions for the industry managers.
