ABSTRACT
Based on the passenger flow data of Qingdao Metro Line 3, this paper focuses on extracting the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of subway passenger flow and user travel characteristics from four perspectives: the characteristics of passenger flow changes during holidays, passenger flow changes in and out of stations, station passenger flow changes, and passenger flow cross-section changes. We analyzed the shortcomings of the current operation plan and organization method using the analysis results of passenger flow characteristics. We also optimized the existing operation plan from the four aspects of ticket fare, operation status, passenger flow organization plan, expansion of stations and equipment, and propose a more suitable passenger flow. We propose specific operational optimization measures for characteristics, including reducing departure intervals, adopting mixed train routing, adopting station-stop and non-station-stop train stopping schemes, and selecting large and small marshaling schemes, which provide for the adjustment of the operation plan of Qingdao Metro Line 3.
