Analysis about Influential Factors in Increment Cost of Green Residential Building in China

Publication: ICCREM 2021

ABSTRACT

Because of the transformation of economic structure and development mode in China, particularly in terms of energy consumption and operation, it is gradually difficult for the extensive development of traditional buildings to meet the requirement in the new era. The development strategy has been focused on the promotion of green buildings in the construction industry. An important factor affecting the development of green buildings is the incremental cost of green buildings. To find out the factors that affect the incremental cost of green buildings and analyze their mechanism can provide the development of green buildings in China with a certain reference. Green residential building is the research object of this essay. Based on the case study of Guangdong Province’s green building, combined with literature research, this essay establishes a system of factors affecting the incremental cost of green residential buildings. Finally, based on the research results, this essay proposes reasonable countermeasures and suggestions, and provides a reference for enterprises and governments to control the incremental cost of green buildings.
