Research on the Flexible Operation Organization Mode of Rail Transit in Clustered City in Mountainous Areas

The traditional rail transit operation organization mode can no longer meet the development of transportation in infill development stage and the flexible needs of passengers, especially in clustered city in mountainous. It is necessary to adopt a reasonable transportation organization scheme to match transportation capacity and passenger demand. First, this paper introduces the characteristics, corridor patterns, and rail layouts. The application scenarios and advantages and disadvantages of various operation organization modes for such cities are analyzed. Next, based on the data, a corresponding rail transit operation organization mode is proposed. Finally, suggestions are made for the rail transit facilities and equipment required by the flexible operating organization model. Through the research on the flexible operation organization of rail transit, we provide theoretical and technical support for the safe operation of rail transit and comfortable travel of passengers in clustered city.
