Evacuation Scheme for Transfer Station Based on User Equilibrium

Publication: CICTP 2021

ABSTRACT

This study focuses on the evacuation scheme for rail transit transfer stations based on the principle of user equilibrium. First, the design of evacuation streamlines is proposed from three aspects: layer itself, layer to layer, and layer to ground exit. On this basis, the evacuation route is networked, and the flow distribution model of evacuation routes is established from the perspective of user optimization, with time as the reference index of the route resistance function. Finally, taking Fuxingmen Station in Beijing as the research subject, an example of an evacuation scheme is designed. The results show that considering the evacuation plan from the perspective of user optimization can better reflect the actual evacuation behavior of pedestrians and find bottleneck areas in the evacuation process. Through optimization and improvement, the casualties and property losses can be reduced, which is very important to the operation and safety of transfer stations.
